Jacob Walker is a Waverly, Iowa native who attends Waverly-Shell Rock High School. In his first two high school season, Walker placed fifth in the state at 195 pounds and then second in the state, also at 195 pounds. In 2021, Walker became a national freestyle runner-up when he competed in Fargo at 16U 220 pounds.
