126 pounds is one of the marque weights to watch at the 2023 Ironman Wrestling Tournament. This weight class is one of the deepest in high school wrestling currently and here we have a bracket with six top-20-ranked wrestlers, including two top-10 pound-for-pound ranked guys, so you can expect there to be fireworks. This year's U17 US Open is as deep as any tournament in recent memory. There aren't many top high schoolers who haven't registered, so wrestling fans should expect to see some of the best high school action of the year with a whole lot at stake. Here's what to expect at every weight.

On the Senior level, the US Open will set the stage for Final X, but there's plenty to watch at the U17 and U20 divisions as well. The U17 division will conclude with a best-of-three series that will decide the World Team, shake up the high school rankings, and establish some wrestlers' cases to be in Who's Number One. High Schoolers in the U20 division will compete against other elite peers but will also test themselves against guys who have been seasoned in college rooms for a year or two.

This year's Walsh Jesuit Ironman is absolutely loaded. Nearly 100 registered wrestlers are ranked in the top 20 in the country, and over half of those are ranked in the top 10. We'll see 7 #1s and 11 weights with possible top-five matchups. Below is a list of the pre-seeds along with everyone else who's registered at each weight. Every fall we see some of the best high schoolers in the country travel to Greensboro, N.C. to battle it out for a Super 32 belt. It seems every season that the brackets at Super 32 become deeper and deeper, with many ranked guys entered into each weight class. This weekend will be no different. Currently, there are over 160 guys ranked in the top 20 in their weight class entered for the 2022 Super 32.

There's nothing quite like Super 32. This year's field includes over 60% of the nation's 280 top-twenty-ranked wrestlers. That group includes eight of 14 #1's and six weights where the two highest-ranked wrestlers at the weight could square off for the number one spot.
