One of my favorite age-level tournaments of the year has arrived - the Junior World Team Trials. The nation’s best high school upperclassmen and college underclassmen putting it on the line for a chance to represent their country overseas.

What better way to spend Memorial Day weekend than wrestling in Virginia Beach with a bunch of your friends? That's what the NHSCA Duals are for many participants, including a large collection of nationally ranked high school wrestlers.

One month after winning their 12th NCAA team title, Penn State wrestling is already back in action. With future, current, and former wrestlers all competing at the US Open, the field in Las Vegas will be keeping Nittany Lion fans busy.

On the Senior level, the US Open will set the stage for Final X, but there's plenty to watch at the U17 and U20 divisions as well. The U17 division will conclude with a best-of-three series that will decide the World Team, shake up the high school rankings, and establish some wrestlers' cases to be in Who's Number One. High Schoolers in the U20 division will compete against other elite peers but will also test themselves against guys who have been seasoned in college rooms for a year or two.

The Pittsburgh Wrestling Classic, formerly the Dapper Dan, has a long-standing tradition of showcasing high school wrestling excellence. Every year, they pit the toughest Pennsylvania high school seniors against the highest-ranked national competitors they can find. This year's PA All-Star team includes 8 nationally ranked wrestlers, half of whom are ranked in the top ten in the country. Team USA? All 12 are ranked inside the top 7 in the country with three #1s and four #2s.

The Journeymen Fall Classic annually hosts some of the nation's toughest high school wrestlers, and this year is no different. Check out everyone registered for the main event below with national rankings listed where applicable. With potential matchups like #1 Jax Forrest vs #2 Luke Lilledahl and #2 Tyler Kasak vs #4 PJ Duke, you won't want to miss this action.

Who's Number One gives college wrestling fans a glimpse of what they can look forward to in just a few years on the NCAA stage. we've seen matchups between NCAA finalists like Jason Nolf vs Joey McKenna in 2013, Nick Suriano vs Daton Fix and Zahid Valencia vs Myles Martin in 2014, and Nick Lee vs Sammy Sasso in 2016. The athletes at Who's Number One will make their mark in college wrestling. Both Tyler Kasak and Beau Mantanona have had a lot of success between their sophomore and junior years, and each also has been in his share of barn-burners. Their matchup at 145 lbs on September 9 has the makings of an instant Who's Number One classic.

Team USA men’s freestyle squad finished the U17 World Championships in dominant fashion by winning all four of their medal matches on the final day of competition. Dom Muneretto (45kg), Luke Lilledahl (51kg), and Joe Sealey (71kg) all won gold with Max McEnelly (92kg) earning bronze.
