One of my favorite age-level tournaments of the year has arrived - the Junior World Team Trials. The nation’s best high school upperclassmen and college underclassmen putting it on the line for a chance to represent their country overseas.

Who's Number One gives college wrestling fans a glimpse of what they can look forward to in just a few years on the NCAA stage. we've seen matchups between NCAA finalists like Jason Nolf vs Joey McKenna in 2013, Nick Suriano vs Daton Fix and Zahid Valencia vs Myles Martin in 2014, and Nick Lee vs Sammy Sasso in 2016. The athletes at Who's Number One will make their mark in college wrestling. Get ready for Friday's action by seeing who's already committed, and read about the uncommitted recruits who your team might snag.

Four-man brackets have become a Who's Number One tradition for particularly deep weight classes. This year, 160 lbs fits the bill. North Carolina product Joe Sealey is the top recruit in the class of 2024, but he's third in this weight. His first match will be against Nicco Ruiz, a Monster Garage guy who has beaten him twice in the last year including in the Super 32 finals. On the other side of the four-man, we'll see Illinois commit and Askren Wrestling Academy product Braeden Scoles against #1 Angelo Ferrari, the second ranked recruit in the class of 2024.

Compared to many of his Class of 2023 Big Board peers, Braeden Scoles took his time with recruiting.

The biggest Fargo ever is going to be packed with nationally ranked wrestlers. Here are all the boys we could find in the 16U and Junior freestyle registrations that also appear in the national high school rankings.

This summer, Wisconsin has already finished second at the 16U freestyle National Duals and 4th at the Junior freestyle National Duals. Now they're ready to see where they stack up in a tournament format at Fargo. Check out the full team they're taking to 16U and Junior Nationals later this month along with national rankings.

U20 Nationals (formerly known as UWW Junior Nationals) is one of my favorite age-level tournaments every year. The top high school upperclassmen get to test themselves against the best first or second year college guys who are often hungry to compete coming out of redshirt. It's the first step in making the Junior World Team as the winner of this event will earn an automatic berth to the best-of-three wrestle-off series against the World Team Trials challenge tournament champion in June.

the U20 division at the US Open attracts some of the most ambitious high schoolers and young college wrestlers, and the U17 World Team Trials are one of the pinnacles in the sport. As a result, more than 100 ranked high school wrestlers will be in action in Las Vegas this weekend. Check out the ranked wrestlers and their full fields below.

The 2021 Cadet World Team Trials attracted much of the top talent from around the country, and since there was no Cadet World Team Trials in 2020, it set the stage for a number of wrestlers to pull big upsets that will change the way they're perceived as recruits and on a national level.
