After a down year by Tom Ryan standards in 2022, the Buckeyes rebounded in 2023 by bringing home a team trophy from NCAAs. Despite losing valuable senior leadership from Malik Heinselman, Ethan Smith, Kaleb Romero, and Tate Orndorff, Ohio State is in a good position to bring home another trophy this year. While Jesse Mendez is planning to Olympic redshirt, this will be the debut season for a lot of the loaded 2022 #1 overall recruiting class.

U20 Nationals (formerly known as UWW Junior Nationals) is one of my favorite age-level tournaments every year. The top high school upperclassmen get to test themselves against the best first or second-year college guys who are often hungry to compete coming out of redshirt. It's the first step in making the Junior World Team as the winner of this event will earn an automatic berth to the best-of-three wrestle-off series against the World Team Trials challenge tournament champion in June.

On the Senior level, the US Open will set the stage for Final X, but there's plenty to watch at the U17 and U20 divisions as well. The U17 division will conclude with a best-of-three series that will decide the World Team, shake up the high school rankings, and establish some wrestlers' cases to be in Who's Number One. High Schoolers in the U20 division will compete against other elite peers but will also test themselves against guys who have been seasoned in college rooms for a year or two.

The Pittsburgh Wrestling Classic, formerly the Dapper Dan, has a long-standing tradition of showcasing high school wrestling excellence. Every year, they pit the toughest Pennsylvania high school seniors against the highest-ranked national competitors they can find. This year's PA All-Star team includes 8 nationally ranked wrestlers, half of whom are ranked in the top ten in the country. Team USA? All 12 are ranked inside the top 7 in the country with three #1s and four #2s.

There's nothing quite like Super 32. This year's field includes over 60% of the nation's 280 top-twenty-ranked wrestlers. That group includes eight of 14 #1's and six weights where the two highest-ranked wrestlers at the weight could square off for the number one spot. Here's everything you need to know about the contenders at each weight along with seeds (completed by Willie Saylor), a synopsis of each weight, and our predictions which are sure to be blown up by deep fields of hungry competitors.

Super 32 is a little over a week away, and this year's field is as deep as ever. Eight different #1 ranked wrestlers will be in action, and six different weights will have both #1 and #2. Check out the full list of top-twenty ranked wrestlers below which includes over 160 ranked athletes.

It’s Fargo time baby! There’s a whole lot to get into below, so I won’t waste your time with a boring intro. I’m just going to remind you that USA Wrestling uses separation criteria as their way of seeding. So, don’t freak out when brackets come out.

The biggest Fargo ever is going to be packed with nationally ranked wrestlers. Here are all the boys we could find in the 16U and Junior freestyle registrations that also appear in the national high school rankings.

This year's NHSCA National Duals field includes over 300 ranked or honorable mention wrestlers who will clash in Virginia Beach. Before NHSCA Duals this weekend, check out full rosters from every team in the field along with national rankings and grades. Coaches do still have the ability to make changes to their lineups.

Last year's Ultimate Duals had no shortage of incredible action. The M2 vs Sebolt dual alone was worth the price of admission, but the event also created its fair share of rankings chaos. With wrestlers across three age divisions and two styles, Ohio State fans will have plenty of wrestling to watch at the US Open. Starting Friday, April 29, Ohio State fans can get a good look at where some current wrestlers stack up on the senior ladder and how a couple of key guys from one of the best recruiting hauls we’ve seen recently will compete at the college level.

After 2021 we shouldn’t take normal day-to-day living for granted. It was great to be back in the Giant Center for a three-day tournament. The social aspect of the three-day reunion of former coaches, teammates, rivals, and friends was lost last year as the competitors were shuffled in and out of the Giant Center as quickly as possible to prevent mass interaction. It is what makes Pennsylvania wrestling so special. So many former competitors giving back to the sport. You can often find college level coaching staffs sitting in the corner at the PIAA State Championships. It's a special three days, and I was grateful it was back to normal. In this article I’m going to share a few stats and some thoughts I had as I sat behind the microphone matside in Hershey.

The PIAA Championships return to FloWrestling March 10-12. All bouts will be streamed live starting with AA on Thursday morning at 9am EST. AAA gets underway at 4pm Thursday afternoon.This four part series will preview each bracket for lightweights (106-138) and heavyweights (145-285) on both the AA and AAA side. AA release will be followed by AAA. Check into the event hub for all written and video content.
