The Minnesota phenom has made it very clear that he is headed towards the sports/entertainment side of things after his last unscripted match was over, but I don’t think many people thought that it would be this soon.

On Tuesday, the 2020 Olympics were officially postponed until the summer of 2021. This was not surprising news given the impact COVID-19 has had on the cancellation of many live sporting events and the world more broadly, but now that it's official, the wrestling community has many questions to consider. Before the season began, Iowa was projected to finish in second place and score 103 points. Now, halfway through the season, they're the top-ranked team with a projected team total of 135.5. 

Anthony Cassar and Kyle Conel are done for the season, according to Penn State beat writer Nate Cobler of the Centre Daily Times. Cobler confirmed in a series of tweets that the Penn State NCAA champion heavyweight and All-American 197-pounder are both done for the year.

While Senior Nationals added a lot of clarity to what the field will look like at the Olympic Trials, it raised a few big questions for the NCAA team race between this year’s front-runners, Iowa and Penn State. Here are three important questions to consider after Senior Nationals.

A handful of Nittany Lion Wrestling Club members registered for this weekend's Senior Nationals - US Olympic Trials Qualifier. Their registration list includes Anthony Cassar, Greg Kerkvliet, Aaron Brooks, and Nick Lee. Two names not on the registration list, at least so far, are 74kg contenders Vincenzo Joseph and Jason Nolf.
