Final X, presented by Tezos, is Saturday, June 10 at Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, and will be streamed LIVE on FloWrestling. Final X determines the 2023 U.S. Senior World teams in all three Olympic disciplines: men’s and women’s freestyle and Greco-Roman.

The recent World Team Trials Challenge tournament decided four remaining Final X spots, but it also provided clarity on who will represent the United States at the U23 World Championships in Tampere, Finland on October 23-29. U23 National champions are not guaranteed a spot.

The U.S. women's freestyle team has four medal opportunities with Dymond Guilford (76 kg) wrestling for gold and Alisha Howk (55 kg), Lexie Basham (59 kg), and Sienna Ramirez (68 kg) going for bronze. Three of four World Championships are complete following a historic performance by the U.S. women’s freestyle team in Belgrade, Serbia. The team finished second behind Japan and crowned three individual World champions and won seven total medals.

Kayla Miracle and Jennifer Rogers had quite a best-of-three series on August 13. Miracle — a 2021 World silver medalist — postponed her Final X match with Rogers due to an injury. The two met in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, to determine the 62 kg spot in the upcoming Senior World Championships.

U.S. women placed fourth at the U17 World Championships (formerly known as Cadet Worlds) in Rome on the strength of three silver medalists. Erica Pastoriza (43 kg), Gabriella Gomez (46 kg), and Valerie Hamilton (61 kg) reached the finals and all three received invitations to FloWrestling’s Who’s Number One on September 9, in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
