2023 World champion Vito Arujau announced on Friday that he would not compete at the upcoming 2024 Olympic Wrestling Trials. Arujau took to social media to make his announcement:

The winner of every bracket will earn the right to represent the United States at the Olympics in Paris this coming August. The #2 Missouri Tigers will travel to Ithaca, New York, to take on the 11th-ranked Cornell Big Red on Sunday afternoon. The dual will be streamed on ESPN+. The 2023 Senior World Championships will occur in Belgrad, Serbia, September 16-24. Team USA will send 10 wrestlers per style to Belgrade to compete against the best wrestlers in the world. Team USA is set to compete in the 4th Ranking Series tournament of the year on July 13-16 in Budapest, Hungary. For most of Team USA, this will be the final preparation event before the senior world championship in September.
