The 2022 World Team Trials are set to go down in Coralville, Iowa May 21-22. This tournament will set the top two wrestlers at every weight who will wrestle-off for the world team spot in June at Final X. Seeds for the trials likely won't be released until a few days prior to the tournament, but because of its importance, we decided to predict what the top 7-8 seeds at each weight will look like. NCAA week is finally here! The lightest weight class in Detroit also has the potential to be one of the most chaotic. Take my predictions with a grain of salt considering now that I have put them on wax, they're almost sure to not come true. NCAA Championship Tournament seeds don't always align with expectations. Outside of the coaches' poll, however, there is essentially no human element is involved. A seed is determined by a national qualifier's body of work over the course of the season, as well as that of his competitors, and then a formula which is applied to everyone.

After winning the first national title for the Rutgers wrestling program, Nick Suriano has put his name in the transfer portal.  The Rutgers graduate  marked "do not contact" when putting his name in the portal.

In unfortunate news, Nick Suriano has been forced to withdraw from the 2021 Olympic Trials due to a positive COVID-19 test.

The 2021 US Olympic Trials go down this weekend. All the action will be streamed either through NBC Sports Network or NBC's Peackock streaming service. Olympic Trials week is finally here! Before official seeds come out later in the week, I wanted to take my best guess at how the seeding committee will see things. 

Nick Suriano has long been known as a good wrestler, but for the most part that success has been seen in folkstyle. It was not until after he won his NCAA title in 2019 that we saw him really take to freestyle.

NCAA wrestling isn’t the only thing going down this weekend. The first UWW Rankings Series event is here and it’s going to be fun. With this tournament going towards the 2021 World Championship seeding, a lot of the big guns are coming out.
