The Brent Metcalf Michigan to Iowa State pipeline is paying dividends as the Cyclones picked up another big time recruit Wednesday evening.

Wrestling for Detroit Central Catholic in Michigan, Manny Rojas is a state champion, Fargo finalist, and most recently won Super 32 (watch above). He is currently ranked #4 at 170 and #15 on the Class of 2020 Big Board.
Rojas chose Iowa State over Iowa, Wisconsin, Michigan, Michigan State, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Purdue, Indiana, and Campbell. If able to stay at 174, he could fill the void after Sam Colbray is done in one or two years.
Rojas is the second big pickup for the Cyclones from the class of 2022. Just two weeks ago Casey Swiderski, also a Michigan state champion on the Class of 2022 Big Board, committed to the Cyclones.
