Oklahoma State Wrestling reached out to former teammates, current coaching colleagues, and a slew of other Cowboy family luminaries to get their reaction to the two-time NCAA champ, two-time Olympic champ, and four-time world champ's latest and greatest achievement.

Once John began competing on the senior level, his impact on the sport was felt almost immediately. His low single and approach to neutral offense sent shockwaves through the international community.
And not for nothin but he's also got the snappiest vest game in the business.
Kudos to the Oklahoma Hall of Fame for making John Smith their first wrestler to be inducted. We can think of no more worthy Oklahoman to earn the distinction.
