Here are some can't miss potential matchups we might see on Day 1.

5:00PM Duals

Barn Brothers WC vs Team Shutt (Mat 4)

Team Shutt brought their usual collection of all-stars, which all but guarantees fire matchups where the Barn Brothers are strong. At 113, 120 & 182 the Barn Bros will feature wrestlers who are on the cusp of a top 20 rankings. If they can get by their ranked opponents from Team Shutt they'll greatly improve their odds of getting their names in the next batch.

We'll also hopefully get a chance to see Anthony Ferarri, who is on Team Shutt, wrestle for the first time since making the finals of Super 32

113: Max Gallagher (BBWC) vs #20 Jett Strickenberger (TS)

120: Chase Liardi (BBWC) vs #19 Zeth Romney (TS)

182: James Araneo (BBWC) vs #10 Adrien Cramer (TS)

Metrowest United vs Rampage Black (Mat 14)

Headlining the bout will be #2 Kyonte Hamilton representing Rampage Black. Metrowest United's Naziah Armor will have his hands full trying to contain the Rutgers commit in the ultimate bout of this dual.

Also keep an eye one Metrowest United's Nick Fine at 170, who is a three-time NHSCA individual All-Americna and a 2020 New England runner-up.

6:30PM Duals

Apex Black vs Underground Warriors (Mat 2)

The middleweights should be a blast, as three-time NJ placewinner #6 Nico Nardone is slated to compete for Apex Black at 132 and #18 Nick Fea of Underground Warriors (and Wyoming Seminary) should take the mat at 145-pounds.

Roundtree Wrestling Academy vs Team Nauman Purple (Mat 5)

Team Nauman always rolls deep with Pennsylvania studs to dual meet tournaments, and this year is no exception. Their Purple squad is headlined by PA runner-up #3 Mac Stout at 195 pounds and fourth-place finisher at PIAAs, Jake Lucas, at 220.

The highlight of the dual should be 160, a weight that features another PA runner-up for Nauman against a Roundtree wrestler who just recently placed at the always tough Grappler Fall Classic.

160: Gunner Filipowicz (RWA) vs AJ Corrado (TNP)

Warhawks Black vs Waynesburg (Mat 16)

Wyatt Henson and Rocco Welsh, a PA champ and runner-up respectively at 145 and 152, give Waynesburg one of the best one-two punches at the tournament. Waynesburg also has Luca Augustine at 170. All three are ranked in the top 10.

Warhawks Black answer with a ranked wrestler of their own, #17 Richard Fedalen, a two-time Fargo All-American at 132, plus a lot of other Maryland and Mid-Atlantic hammers.

120: Brady Pruett (WB) vs Charlie Bunting (W)

170: Harrison Trahan (WB) vs #8 Luca Augustine

8:00PM Duals

Lost Boys WC vs Menace-Peanut Butter (Mat 8)

No potential ranked matchups but five wrestlers will enter this dual with national rankings. They are: #7 Casey Swiderski at 132, #15 Stoney Buell at 160 & #16 Gabe Giampietro at 106 for Menace-Peanut Butter, a team composed of mostly Michigan and Illinois hammers, although Buell hails from Delaware; and Brett Ungar at 120 and #7 Brandan Chletsos at 138 for Lost Boys, an all-star team from the Keystone State.

Swiderski also just recently committed to Iowa State

Team Carnage vs Ragin' Raisins Green (Mat 9)

It's been heard through the grapevine that the Ragin' Raisins are playing for keeps this year. Their Green team is led by #12 Ethan Finch at 195-pounds, a two-time state qualifier and sixth-place finisher in Pennsylvania. But Team Carnage is looking for some Cali-style destruction and is bringing five ranked wrestlers. They are: #4 Rocco Contino at 170, #11 Michael Gioffre at 138, #15 Jack Gioffre at 126, #18 Ceasar Garza at 160, and #20 Logan Deacetis at 182. All were California state placers exception Deacetis, who medaled in Illinois.

160: #18 Ceasar Garza (TC) vs Gavin Quiocho (RRG)

Superior Wrestling Academy vs Malvern Silver

We could potentially see our first ranked matchup of the night (there will be plenty more tomorrow). This will likely be the last significant matchup of the night and will probably take place sometime around 9pm eastern time.

220: #12 Mike Misita (SWA) vs #1 Nick Feldman (MS)
