Burroughs has spent the last 14 years in Lincoln, Nebraska, under the tutelage of Coach Mark Manning, as either a member of the University of Nebraska wrestling team of the Nebraska Wrestling Training Center.
They (Manning and Snyder) are not only coaches to me, but truly family. Every single one of my five titles are their titles as well. We’ve got one more year to add another one, together in Tokyo.
After the Tokyo Olympics Burroughs will join head coach Brandon Slay in Philadelphia, just 23 miles from my hometown of Sicklerville, New Jersey, and continue to train.
