NCAA To Vote On Eligibility Of Winter/Spring Sports March 30
The NCAA will vote on eligibility Of winter and spring sports on March 30.
According to college basketball insider Jeff Goodman, the NCAA will vote on whether winter and spring athletes will be granted an extra year of eligibility next Monday, March 30.

This is a topic that has been debated hotly since the cancelation of the NCAA Championships. On March 13, the Division I Council Coordination Committee put out a statement saying they were in favor of eligibility relief for spring sports.

However, on March 18, fellow college basketball reporter Jon Rothstein reported that the NCAA is unlikely to grant winter sports an extra year of eligibility.

An extra year of eligibility is still in play for student athletes involved with spring sports.
