Today it was announced that Beau Bartlett of Wyoming Seminary would wrestle for Team Pennsylvania at the Pittsburgh Wrestling Classic.

Pittsburgh, PA – The four-time National Prep School Champion and USA Wrestling’s Cadet Folkstyle Team member Beau Bartlett will lead the PA All-Star Team in the 46th Annual Pittsburgh Wrestling Classic on Saturday, March 14, 2020, at the University of Pittsburgh's Fitzgerald Field House.

Bartlett became only the twelfth person to win four National Prep School Championships. He is ranked as one of the top ten pound-for-pound wrestlers in the country, and ranked #1 at 138lbs by FloWrestling. He will wrestle Frankie Tal-Shahar on the USA All-Star Team.

Tal-Shahar won the Florida State Championships in 2019 and was named the Class 1 Wrestler of the Year, while wrestling for American Heritage High School. He is a FloNationals Champions and a Cadet World Team Finalist.

This year Tal-Shahar won the prestigious Walsh Ironman Tournament by defeating Bartlett in overtime. He is currently ranked #3 by FloWrestling at 138lbs.

Tal-Shahar and Bartlett will face off one last time before they continue their education and college wrestling careers in the Big Ten Conference. Tal-Shahar will attend Northwestern University and Bartlett will stay in state, attending Penn State University.
