 - Espalin placed last year in Juniors and Van Hoecke was a schoolboy Pan Am champ.

120: Rocco Welsh (Pennsylvania) vs #2 Jordan Williams (Oklahoma)

 - This was supposed to be a quarter last year at 100, but Welsh missed weight and Williams went on to win.

Alex Dieringer has had a busy 2019, wrestling in three of the four UWW Rankings Series events. That travel and hard work paid off, as Dieringer currently sits fourth in the 79kg standings. With Kyle Dake at #1 and an injured Akhmed Gadzhimagomedov at #3, Dieringer would end up with the #2 seed should he beat Kyle Dake in this weekend's wrestle-offs.
