After spending two seasons at Lehigh, one in which he redshirted, Matt Parker has decided to leave the Mountain Hawks and transfer to Penn State.

Parker was the 87th-ranked recruit on the Class of 2017 Big Board, 10th in the weight class and finished his high school career as a three-time PA state placer, with a runner-up finish in 2016. During his redshirt season he competed exclusive in open tournaments and finished with a 13-2 record with his lone losses coming at Midlands. He won the Wilkes Open, Princeton Open and East Stroudsburg Open all at 125 pounds.

Last year he spent the entire season on the sidelines and did not compete at all for Lehigh, and now will be getting back to action as a Nittany Lion. Parker could take over the 125-pound spot over Devin Schnupp who has manned it for the last two seasons.
