125 - #4 Nick Piccininni, Oklahoma State vs Dack Punke, Missouri

1st Period: Okey doke it's an early takedown for Pich and an escape for Puncke.  2-1 Pich with 90 to go.  PIch in on a sweep which creates a stall call against Punke.  Finish for Pich makes it 4-1. Little blood time for Nick. Nick chops on the left side with a deep waist.  Punke struggling to build up.  Pich switches sites and looks for a claw tilt.  Pich gets two swipes but the ref waves it off and says they were OOB, but they weren't really at that point.  1st period ends with the rideout, 4-1.

2nd Period: Pich goes under and gets away right away.  1:50 of RT for Pich.  Nick working lots of attacks and working from space and collar tie. Sweet duck on the edge for Pich and now it's 6-1 with 38 remaining.  Punke doing a good job keeping his wrists away for now.  Pich has the wrist but they're OOB. Pich looks head lever on the left side.  Time runs out and it's 7-1 PIch with all kinds of RT.

3rd Period: Punke going to go under.  Huge period here as bonus points will be huge in this dual.  Punke really doing very little underneath apart from keep his wrists away.  He's in bonus preservation mode.  Pich will need another score.  Quick standup for Punke.  Not sure why PIch isn't working for TD to get the major.  As I say that he gets a restart and goes optional start with 1:07 left. 7-2 now. Stall point for Pich as Punke continues to evade.  Single leg by Pich off inside reach and it's 10-2 after the finish. Pich rides him out and wins 11-2 with riding time.

133 - #2 Daton Fix, Oklahoma State vs #10 John Erneste, Missouri

1st Period: Underway now.  Daton is working rom space now closing the gap against Erneste who looks absolutely huge at 133. Daton transitioning from lefty collar, Erneste grabbing fingers and trying to get to wrists. Absolutely revolting boot scoot by Daton for 2, Erneste recovers and Daton inside trips him straight to his back!  6-0 Daton!  Great roll by Erneste on the edge and he gets the reversal on the edge.  John Smith would like a word. Erneste going to work on top as they don't change the call.  Erneste gets hit for stalling for not returning fast enough.  Erneste is in his best position and is threading that near leg.  He has a nasty spladle he's trying to set up, but Daton is game.  Crowd wants Daton warned for stalling as the first comes to an end.

2nd Period: Erneste goes under.   He's up to his feet, looking for hands and Daton drops down to the leg and returns.  Daton looks roll through tilt from rear standing, nearly put himself in trouble, then nearly turned Erneste, but they go OOB.  Back to center, 1:20 left.   Erneste back to his feet once more and Daton gets the return, could have been warned there.  Now Daton has double boots in and Erneste is completely flat.  RT over a minute for Daton now.  Daton had the hammerlock but time runs out.

3rd Period:  Fix is taking neutral. Shot from Erneste, he comes up with double unders.  He tries to throw him by, but can't get it.  1:15 remaining and it's 6-2 Daton with 1:36 RT.  Daton nearly hits his pass by but Erneste is pressuring in.  Now they're on the edge out of bounds.  Erneste's power and size has prevented a few scores.  Boom another inside trip from Daton makes it 9-2 with riding time.

141 - #14 Kaid Brock, Oklahoma State vs #4 Jaydin Eierman, Missouri

1st Period: Oh baby we're under way.  Kaid working from space, lots of fakes.  Now tied up.  Brock faking a lot.  Eierman keeping a hand on the mat.  Swim high crotch from Kaid but Eierman steps out. Eierman keeping his left elbow away from Kaid.  High crotch by Kaid and he gets to a standing single.  Hard whizzer by Eierman and he frees himself and we're still scoreless with 40 to go.  Shot by Brock and Eierman nearly gets a drag go behind for the takedown.  Eierman can't quite finish.  Jaydin asks for the brick and Coach Smith throws it.  It's going to be pretty close.  Eierman did have the near leg in, but Jaydin was basically in front of Kaid at the time.  Weird situation, probably shouldn't be two but I'll leave that to the professionals.  Time is out in the period, by the way.  So unless something changes, we'll be going to the 2nd period after the review.  No change in the call.

2nd Period: Eierman chooses bottom. And in today's installment of "Really good wrestlers keep locking their hands and it makes no sense" 1 point for Eierman as Kaid locks his hands.  He lets Eierman up and we've got a shot by Kaid, but Eierman crunches up a nearside cradle for the fall!  Huge pinfall for Missouri!

149 - #4 Kaden Gfeller, Oklahoma State vs #9 Brock Mauller, Missouri

1st Period: Ok now, deep breaths.  Underway here and it's a takedown for Maulleron the go behind and G is up and out making it 2-1!  Nearly had G on his back for a moment with a bottom leg turk.  Working from neutral and tied up.  1:10 to go.  Beautiful high crotch by G but it's a better counter for Mauller who finishes and once again G is away and it's 4-2!  First period comes to an end.

2nd Period: Gfeller takes bottom.  G is on on a leg now comes up to his feet and escapes.  4-3 Mauller now and 47 seconds of RT for Mauller.  Front headlock for G.  Good stutter fake by G but doesn't pull the trigger.  Arm drag by Mauller again for two more!  6-3 now and 22 to go. Granby by G and it's 6-4.  Another shot by G and another counter by Mauller and the ride out!  8-4 Mauller as we head to the 3rd! Far ankle mastery.

3rd Period:  Mauller up and out immediately and it's 9-4.  RT over a minute for Mauller.  50 to go! Pace has slowed as it's 10-4 but Mauller doesn't seem interested in the major.  10-4 final for Mauller!

157 - Wyatt Sheets, Oklahoma State vs #14 Jarrett Jacques, Missouri

1st Period: Dump right away for Jacques and it's 2-0 just like that.  Jacques working hard on top. 2 minutes left in the period and Sheets is struggling to get away.  As I type this he stands up and escapes with 1:20 to go.  QUICK duck by Sheets and he's in the lead 3-2 with a minute to go. Jacques is out, 33 to go.  Stalemate in short offense and it's 3-3 after 1.

2nd Period: Sheets chooses bottom.  Gets hands and he's out.  4-3 Sheets, 90 to go.  High crotch by Jacques and it takes a while but he gets the finish.  1 minute left and Sheets escapes and it's 5-5. Beautiful re-attack by Jacques but he's struggling to beat Sheets' whizzer on the edge.  Sheets kicks out with 4 to go. 5-5 after 2.

3rd Period: Jacques goes under. Sheets throws a leg in, now they're rear standing and there's the escape.  6-5 Jacques with 1:10 left. Shot Jacques, Sheets sits the corner but isn't really looking to score with the counter.  Stalemate with 39 left.  Jacques a little tired but he's still battling.  Shot by Sheets but only 10 to go.  Good front headlock and he hands on for the 6-5 win.

**It's intermission time!  I would grab a snack and a drink because the 2nd half is going to be fire.**

Ok, we're about back.

165 - #11 Chandler Rogers, Oklahoma State vs #13 Connor Flynn, Missouri

1st Period: Rogers in a front headlock right away.  2:25 left as Chandler looks for a 2 on 1.  Chandler hits a dump but before then, they call a penalty on Flynn and it's 1-0 Rogers.  Not sure what he did.  Might have been something about how he had the front headlock. 1:08 left as we have a stalemate.  Hands to the face from Rogers and it's 1 point for Flynn!  1-1.  Now a takedown, yes, actually wrestling moves points.  Beautiful little pass by there for 2. Rideout for Rogers and it's 3-1 after 1.

2nd Period: Rogers takes bottom.  Sit out and escape makes it 4-1 for Chandler.  OMG beautiful exchange.  Flynn had the go-behind but Rogers hits a granby and comes out on top.  6-1 now. Chandler hit the assassin but somehow Flynn frees himself.  He's still underneath, but avoided nearfalll.  Stall call against Flynn.  Rogers working the Gable but Flynn escapes.  1:22 RT for Chandler and it's 6-2.

3rd Period:  Flynn starts underneath.  Near leg trapped. OOB with 1:23 left.  RT at 1:59 now.  Flynn hits a granby and ends up with the leg but is still not away.  Rogers has recovered and we have no change.  51 to go.  Rogers lets him up.  Takedown Flynn and it's 6-5 and Flynn throws in legs and is going to work.  Rogers is completely flattened out underneath.  RT is locked for Chandler.  it's 7-5 final for Chandler as Flynn gets the rideout.

Oklahoma State: 10

Missouri: 12

174 - #7 Joe Smith, Oklahoma State vs #2 Daniel Lewis, Missouri

1st Period: Joe Smith vs Daniel Lewis.  I cannot wait. Shot attempt for Lewis but Joseph clears out. Single by Lews and he has it shelfed and there's the two for Lewis.  Now Lewis goes to work from his best position.   Near ankle scooped for Lewis and Joseph is struggling to build up.  Stalemate.  Hearnes center isn't happy about it.  Lewis still riding Joe like crazy, no stall warning but it feels like it could come against Joseph.  Rideout for Lewis. 2:05 RT for Lewis.

2nd Period: Startin neutral here.   Not a lot going on right now.  20 to go.  This was a pretty painful period, but it's almost over folks.  On to bigger and better periods!

3rd Period: Lewis chooses bottom. Quick stand up and there's the escape.  3-0 now and 1:57 RT for Lewis. Left side high crotch for Lewis and and there's a stall warning against Joseph.  Finish for Lewis makes it 5-0 with 40 left.  Lewis just looked at John Smith and gave the "shush" gesture. So that happened.  7-0 final with riding time.

Missouri: 15

Oklahoma State: 10

184 - #9 Jacobe Smith, Oklahoma State vs Dylan Wisman, Missouri

1st Period:  Alright we're movin on up. Single by Wisman but they're on the edge.  Wisman trying to pull him back.  He gets the other ankle for two!  Leg comes in for Wisman.  Great cross body ride for Wisman as he has the far arm from Jacobe.  Stalemate gives Jacobe a fresh start.  Wisman nearly had the suck back and Smith hits a leg switch for a reversal to make it 2-2 as the period ends.  1:25 RT for Wisman.

2nd Period: Smith takes bottom and escapes from the cross body ride.  3-2 Smith.  Double to single from Smith but they go out of bounds.  1:34 left.  Same shot again from Smith and he's in the middle of the mat.  Wisman tries to roll under but Smith recovers and finishes.  5-2 Smith with 50 to go.  Restart with 34 to go and Wisman tripods up, Smith out to to the side with the ankle now trapped.  Humongous rideout for Smith.  5-2 for Jacobe Smith.

3rd Period: Wisman takes bottom.  Potentially dangerous call right away.  Wisman frees himself to make it 5-3 RT not a factor.  Smith takes the same single from space and has Wisman bouncing.  Great trip and finish for two more.  7-3 Jacobe.   16 left as Smith is still working rom top.  RT at 50 and climbing.  7-3 final for Jacobe Smith.

Missouri: 15

Oklahoma State: 13

197 - Preston Weigel, Oklahoma State vs Wyatt Koelling, Missouri

1st Period: Weigel's second match since returning from injury.  Koelling comes out looking for a two on one. Weigel pressures Koelling OOB for a stall warning.  Not much else happening here.  No leg attacks yet.  40 to go.  1st period mercifully ends.

2nd Period: Koelling starts period underneath.  Weigel may have taken top.  Quick return by Weigel and he's got Koelling flat underneath, surely looking for his go-to tilt. Another return and Weigel had the two on one tilt but couldn't take him over.  Koelling's head on the mat.  Out of bounds now with 39 left.  2nd caution on Koelling. Another breakdown for Weigel and he's going to get the rideout, stall call against Weigel and the officials don't remember giving the first stall warning.  Coach Smith corrects them and it's 1-0 Weigel after 2.

3rd Period: Koelling chooses neutral.  Hands to the face from Weigel makes it 1-1 with RT at 2 minutes for Weigel, oh man.  Back to center and it's a big double leg for Weigel for two!  3-1 Weigel with RT locked.   15 to go and it's a 4-1 final for Weigel.  Cowboys back in the lead with one to go.

Oklahoma State: 16

Missouri: 15

285 - #2 Derek White, Oklahoma State vs #19 Zach Elam, Missouri

1st Period: Elam locking up over/under body lock against White.  White tries to shoot out of it but can't get through.  Pass by from White, then he drops down to a single.  1:08 to go and we've got a stalemate. White maybe thought he got two on the pass by, but they didn't award it.  Elam looks for a slide by, but White runs out of it.  Shot by Elam but White catches him in a front headlock. 0-0 after 1.

2nd Period: White chooses bottom.  White comes to his feet and escapes.  1-0.  1:20 left. Single leg by White, I thought he had the two a few times, but they dont award it.  John Smith thinks it was two but he is Derek's White's coach, so ya know. Period ends 1-0 White.

3rd Period: Elam escapes immediately, it's 1-1!  Riding time not a factor.  Elam continues to go to the over/under body lock, though he hasn't used it yet.  Stalemate with 50 left.  Getting very loud.  30 left.  OT BABY

SV1: Neutral! Immediate shot by Elam, near throw by for White but nobody scores.  40 to go.  High crotch by White and he doubles off for the match winning takedown 3-1!

FINAL SCORE:

Oklahoma State: 19
