Saturday was not a good day to be on the high school pound-for-pound list.

We're sure three P4P kids have lost in one day before, but probably at one major event with a high concentration of talent, like Fargo or Super 32, not in three separate tournaments across the country. Below, in chronological order, are all three losses.

First, it was Cam Amine bumping up to take on #7 Alex Facundo at the DCC invite. Amine, a senior committed to Michigan, is a captain on this year's Detroit Catholic Central team. A Michigan powerhouse, Central Catholic has a historic rivalry with Davison, which is Facundo's high school. The video comes courtesy of Michigan Grappler.

Less than an hour later in Oklahoma, Julian Ramirez met #8 Dustin Plott in the finals of the 75th annual Geary Invitational. The Blair senior Ramirez gave up the first takedown, but came back and ultimately held off the Super 32 champ Plott in the final seconds.

Finally, out in California, two visitors put on a show in the Doc B finals. Mosha Schwartz out of Ponderosa, staying in-state to wrestle for Northern Colorado, mounted an epic comeback against two-time Cadet world team member and P4P #13 Robbie Howard. It was the Bergen Catholic star's second loss of the year and may drop him out of the P4P for now.
