Ladies and gentlemen, whom amongst you desires to rock? Because the Crisler Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan, is hosting a monster dual meet between two rad wrestling teams, the Moutain Hawks of Lehigh and hometown Wolverines.

Watch Lehigh at Michigan Live on Flo

Sunday, November 18 | 5:00 PM

But why should you watch? I will tell you.

#1 It’s Literally The Best Dual of the Weekend

There is a ridiculous amount of awesome duals this weekend, and Flo is streaming most of them, and out of all those great duals, this is the best one. I mean sure, everyone may have their favorite for personal reasons, but this is the best based solely off rankings. Those kinds of matchups don't come around often, so make sure you take advantage of them when they do!

#2 Have a Headbanger’s Ball

If you haven't heard yet, it's Wrestle 'N Roll night. So tease out your hair, rip off those sleeves, and blast some G'NF'NR to get pumped for a loud night of wrestling in Michigan's 12,000-plus seater arena.

#3 Revenge for the Wolverines? Or for Lehigh?

The Wolverines and Mountain Hawks faced off against each other in a dual meet last November in Bethlehem. It did not go so well for Michigan. But the relatively slow start for the Michigans did not hinder them at NCAAs, where they out-placed Lehigh by 11 spots. Will Michigan get revenge for their dual meet drubbing? Or will Lehigh be motivated for their Nationals disaster?

#4 The Kutler Amine Rubber Match

Kutler and Amine's season series mirrored that of their respective teams'. A year ago in Bethlehem, it was Kutler who emerged victorious. But in the quarterfinals of the NCAA tournament, it was Amine who prevailed. Amine went on to place third, while Kutler injury defaulted in the consolation semis and medical forfeited out to sixth. Now in the Ann Arbor, the rivalry is renewed.

#5 Lehigh’s Lineup Reveal

The injury bug bit the Mountain Hawks early, and it's likely they will be without the services of two All-Americans at 125 and 133. Stanford graduate transfer Connor Schram and two-time podium placer Scott Parker are both expected to miss the match. Nick Farro and Brandon Paetzell acquitted themselves admirably at the Journeymen Collegiate Classic, and may end up being the long-term solution should Schram and Parker be on the shelf for the entire season.

There are also rumblings that true freshman Josh Humphreys is making it hard for head coach Pat Santoro to keep him on redshirt. Might we see an early dual appearance by the native West Virginian at 157 pounds?

Additionally, Lehigh has at least three 197-pounders that can make a case for being the starter. Lehigh indeed has crazy depth for private school. Sophomore Chris Weiler earned the spot last year and advanced to the round of 12 in Cleveland. But junior Jake Jakobsen and redshirt sophomore Kyle Gentile are right there with him and will be pushing Weiler all year long. Expect that roster battle to last all season long.

#6 Michigan’s Lineup Reveal

Michigan is not without their roster battles as well, most notably at 125 where true sophomore Drew Mattin faces a challenge from junior Austin Assad. Although Mattin does have a redshirt to burn, he already wrestled in the Central Michigan dual, so that option is off the table.

There are three other extremely talented freshmen that are currently on redshirt. Although it is unlikely either Joey Silva, Will Lewan, or Mason Parris sees action against Lehigh, the mere possibility of any of them making their varsity debut is tantalizing enough.

#7 The Beginning of the Bormet Era

Head coach Sean Bormet is in his first year at the helm of the Michigan program, taking over for Joe McFarlane's 19 legendary years. So far Bormet is undefeated as head coach, winning his first dual last weekend at Central Michigan 32-12. This event marks his first home dual, which we're he'd like to end in similar fashion.

Fun fact, coach Bormet is a brick wall and you are not getting anything past his cat-like reflexes.

Keep it dialed in for everything Lehigh vs Michigan, as we have not one but two powerhouses on site, live and in person. Mike Mal and CP are in the home of the Big House and will be bringing the heat from the snowy climes of Ann Arbor. Watch along in the climate control comfort of your own home!
