Connor Brady Commits To Virginia Tech

#12 Connor Brady of Olentangy Liberty high school in Ohio has verbally committed to wrestle for the Virginia Tech Hokies in college.

Virginia Tech picked up a commitment from one of the nation's best juniors today. Connor Brady of Olentangy Liberty high school in Ohio gave a verbal to wrestle for the Hokies in college. 

Currently ranked 12th at 152 pounds, Brady projects as a 157/165 at the Division 1 level. He also comes in at #10 on the Class of 2019 Big Board.

Brady was a runner-up as sophomore in D1 Ohio at 152lbs to David Carr. He went on to finish third in Akron, beating Jake Stiles, Justin McCoy, Tyler Dow, Carter Starocci and Jared Franek in the process.

He then went on to undefeated at Junior Duals, beating the likes of Kasper McIntosh, Cam Amine and Dustin Plott.

Brady joins a long line of Ohio natives to wrestle for the Hokies. He will be joining former St. Paris Graham products Brent Moore and Mitch Moore while there, and following in the footsteps of former Tech All Americans Ty Walz, Nick Brascetta, and Zach Neibert
