Tenth-ranked Iowa plays host to No. 16 Illinois at Carver-Hawkeye Arena on Friday night at 7 ET.

The Hawkeyes enter their Big Ten Conference opener in with an unblemished 4-0 dual meet record, averaging 38.5 points per dual so far this season. The visiting Fighting Illini currently sit at 1-1 after claiming their first win over Fresno State on Nov. 17.

Two-time NCAA champion and three-time All-American Isaiah Martinez will make his return to Illinois' lineup after placing fifth at the U23 World Championships in Poland last week. With No. 14 Alex Marinelli still sidelined due to injury for Iowa, the defending NCAA runner-up Martinez will take on Kaleb Young, who has done well to hold down the spot in Marinelli’s absence, coming in with a 3-1 record.

The lone top 20 matchup of the dual will come at 133, where Hawkeyes senior and No. 15-ranked Phil Laux faces No. 19 Dylan Duncan, an Illini redshirt freshman.
