Men's Freestyle Team For Pan Ams Announced

Dennis Schneidler-USA TODAY Sports Logan Stieber

USA Wrestling has announced the men's freestyle roster for the 2017 Pan Am championships. All three styles have now been determined, and at least part of the delegation leaves as early as today for the host city of Salvador da Bahia, Brazil.

Leading the team is Olympic gold medalist Kyle Snyder, as well as his fellow world champion Buckeye in Logan Stieber. Joining them is 2015 world bronze medalist James Green, fresh off his title at the U.S. Open on Saturday night.

Anchoring Team USA at heavyweight is Dom Bradley, the defending Pan Am champ at 125kg. Bookending Bradley on the opposite side is Dave Schultz champ Tyler Graff, looking to earn his first continental medal.

Rounding out the team is two-time NCAA champ and past junior world medalist Gabe Dean, 2013 U.S. Open champ Kellen Russell and current Wisconsin assistant Kyle Ruschell, a 2014 national team member who was third at that year's world team trials.

Greco-Roman competes on Friday, May 5th. Women's freestyle takes the mat on Saturday, May 6th. Men's freestyle closes out the event on Sunday, May 7th.
