Super 32 2008. THIS bracket.

Starting at the top, the champion, David Taylor. Baby faced David Taylor took home his Super 32 belt with a 6-0 win over Virginia's Ian Squires, a multiple time State Placer in the quarter-finals, a tight 4-2 battle over NJ State Champ and future D3 NCAA National Champion Kodie Silverstiri which led him to an eventual match up with Oklahoma State National Finalist, Josh Kindig. In a match where only one point was scored, Taylor edged Kindig for the Championship.

Coming in from the bottom was Josh Kindig. Kindig was having a dominant tournament, pinning all of his opponents until the Semi-Finals where he wrestled 2012 Olympian Ellis Coleman. Kindig pulled out a 5-4 win here to meet up with Taylor in the finals.

Taking home third place was Oak Park River Forest's Ellis Coleman. Ellis Coleman now has a decorated international resume and was a 2012 Greco-Roman United States Olympic Team Member. Ellis dropped into the wrestle backs after his loss to Kindig and was tested immediately with a match against New York State Champion Steve Dutton. Dutton now wrestles at Michigan and was an All-American this past season, claiming seventh. Coleman pinned Dutton here to put him in the consolation finals where he faced future Iowa Hawkeye Josh Dziewa and pulled out an over time 2-1 win.

After the loss to Coleman in the consolation semifinals, Dutton dropped down the wrestle for 5th place against Kodie Silvestri. Silverstri was a New Jersey State Champ and Dutton was a 2X NYS Champion. Dutton drops this match to Silvetsri 6-1 to take home 6th place.

The match for 7th and 8th pitted Ian Squires against Wilson Metelius. Wilson was a Florida State Champion in high school before he went to Ellsworth where he won a NJCAA National Title. Ian Squires was a Virginia State Champ who continued his career at Maryland. These two battled it out where Wilson took a 2-1 win.

Looking at the top eight guys it was awesome to see how they continued their careers. Four National Titles, 7 National Finals appearances and multiple All-American honors highlight the accolades between the eight of these guys since they all competed in the same weight class at the Super 32.
