The University of Iowa enters the 2024-25 season with six returning All-Americans and several high-profile transfers. Kyle Parco (149) and Jacori Teemer (157) transferred from Arizona State and Stephen Buchanan (197) from Oklahoma. 

Drake Ayala, a 2024 national finalist at 125, is moving up to 133.

Two-time All-American Michael Caliendo (165) transferred from North Dakota State last season.

Senior All-American Nelson Brands (184) returns to the roster after missing last season.

Joey Cruz (125) transferred to Iowa from Oklahoma after the 2023 season. 

Heavyweight Ben Kueter recently won a silver medal at the U20 World Championships and will skip the football season to focus solely on wrestling. 

Below is a projected depth chart for the Hawkeyes based on probable starters. The line-up can change throughout the season but this provides a snapshot of the team. Wrestlers can move up or down based on need. 

True freshmen can use five competition dates as a starter without losing their redshirt. That means we could see high-profile recruit Angelo Ferrari during the season.
