Team Georgia, the official state federation of USA Wrestling in Georgia, has partnered with FloWrestling to adopt and utilize the FloArena online software for all its tournament needs.

Wrestlers, coaches, and parents now have a single place to go to register for events and to follow live results. Everything you need to sign up for and follow USA Wrestling tournaments in the state of Georgia can now be found at Arena.FloWrestling.org

Team Georgia State Chairman Robert Horton is enthusiastic about the opportunities the partnership affords his state.

"It's not something we rushed into," Horton said. "We took a full year of careful consideration and a lot of conversations. But every time we told FloWrestling that we needed something else, they said OK and worked on a solution. It wasn't until FloArena was ready to handle all of our needs that we decided to make the switch, but now that we did we couldn't be more excited about the future."

FloArena is the best resource for Team Georgia to provide consistent, user friendly tournament experiences for the coaches, wrestlers, and fans.

Recent additions to the FloArena system include alerts, which allow you to receive texts or emails of the mat assignments, results, or both, for any individual wrestler or team. Another new feature is the registration matrix, which allows users to find out who is already registered at every weight before they make the decision to register themselves.

From a state whose economy is technology driven, it was very important to Team Georgia that it adopt tournament software on the cutting edge. To help with the transition, Team Georgia has also partnered with KapWrestling to provide support.

Horton envisions the time and money saved from switching to FloArena being reinvested back into Georgia wrestling, compounding the dividends gained from the wrestling tournaments and helping Georgia become one of the top-tier wrestling states in the country.

"The savings are a big part of it," Horton said. "Switching to FloArena was free. We're only paying for the tech support. That allows Team Georgia to find better uses for the money we save. We also expect everyone involved in the tournaments, especially the coaches and volunteers, to save time during set up and registration. Even saving 10 minutes can make a big difference when you multiply that across a year's worth of tournaments."

From now on, for every trip to Fargo and for every local middle school tournaments, Team Georgia and FloWrestling will be working together to grow the sport by creating a better tournament experience for every Georgian fan, athlete, and coach.
