Judging by the high school results, it's easy to see that Super 32 has been a proving ground for the country's top talent over the years. But if we go back even further, we can take a look at the elite trail some of today's NCAA wresters were blazing as middle schoolers at the annual tournament, which returns to Greensboro, NC, on Oct. 28-29.

Don't believe me? Here's a few examples.

Super 32 -- which was specifically for high school-aged competitors -- added a middle division in 2009, and in that first year there were some notable names that met in the finals. For instance, here is the 85-pound bracket where future NCAA All-American Matt Kolodzik took on NCAA qualifier Jared Prince.

In the next weight up, a pair of Georgia's finest went head-to-head in the finals at 90 pounds as Ryan Millhof met Sean Russell.

The tournament continued to grow in 2010 when some Pennsylvania showstoppers made it to the finals against one another. At the time, Luke Pletcher and Vincenzo Joseph were just a pair of 90-pound powerhouses. As we all know now, Cenzo had a huge performance at this year's NCAA tournament and was one of PSU's five national champions, while Pletcher qualified for NCAAs as a true freshman at Ohio State.

Last but certainly not least are a pair of world-beaters. Two-time cadet world champion Yianni Diakomihalis took out junior world champ Daton Fix to win the title at 100 in 2012. This matchup took place a few times after their meeting in 2012, with Yianni D getting another win over Fix in the S32 finals a few years later before Fix got some revenge in the FloNational finals.

Obviously, these are just a few of the biggest and baddest who have scrapped at Super 32 in both the high school and middle school divisions. Check out all the old brackets from both divisions here.
