Looking through old results can be a fun way to get familiar with a tournament, especially one of Super 32's magnitude. The annual event, which returns Oct. 28-29 to Greensboro, NC, has turned into one of the toughest and most prestigious high school wrestling events of the entire calendar year.

I have been working at FloSports since 2008, and I have never been to Super 32. Every year there has been another event that weekend that I've attended, and I've yet to see this amazing tournament in person that everyone raves about.

Here are six brackets from Super 32s of the past that get me fired up for my first trip!

2007 - 125lb:

1st: Eric Grajales
2nd: Jordan Oliver
3rd: Scotti Sentes
4th: Erik Spjut
5th: Jeremy Sandoval
6th: Tony Ramos
7th: Trevor Dearden
8th: Andrew Williams

This bracket saw eventual world team member Tony Ramos finish in sixth place, while two-time NCAA champion Jordan Oliver fell to Michigan All-American Eric Grajales in the finals.

2008 - 135lb:

1st: David Taylor
2nd: Josh Kindig
3rd: Ellis Coleman
4th: Josh Dziewa
5th: Kodie Silvestri
6th: Stephen Dutton
7th: Wilson Metellus
8th: Ian Squires

Two-time NCAA champion and four-time NCAA finalist David Taylor took out NCAA finalist Josh Kindig in the finals, while 2012 Olympian Ellis Coleman beat Iowa starter Josh Dziewa for third place.

2010 - 112lb:

1st: Anthony Ashnault
2nd: Zain Retherford
3rd: Connor Schram
4th: George DiCamillo
5th: Jacob Schmitt
6th: Freddie Rodriguez
7th: Austin Miller
8th: Zeke Moisey

Rutgers All-American Anthony Ashnault won this loaded weight class over last year's Hodge Trophy winner, Zain Retherford. George DiCamillo, the 2017 NCAA runner-up, was fourth, while 2015 NCAA runner-up Zeke Moisey finished eighth.

2012 - 106lb:

1st: Nick Suriano
2nd: Spencer Lee
3rd: Luke Pletcher
4th: Jose Rodriguez
5th: Brandon Olsen
6th: Eli Stickley
7th: Chad Red
8th: Hayden Lee

Recent Rutgers transfer Nick Suriano beat three-time world champion in the finals of this bracket, while 2017 Ohio State starters Luke Pletcher and Jose Rodriguez battled in the third-place match. Four-time undefeated high school state champion Chad Red was all the way back in seventh place in this bracket.

2012 - 132lb:

1st: Dean Heil
2nd: Aaron Pico
3rd: Jason Nolf
4th: Scott Delvecchio
5th: Dennis Gustafson
6th: Josh Maruca
7th: George Weber
8th: Javier Gasca

One of the most memorable matches I have seen from Super 32 was this final between Dean Heil and Aaron Pico. There was a lot of talk about Pico, but the veteran Heil got the job done. One of the most dominant and creative NCAA champions from 2017, Jason Nolf, finished in third place.

2015 - 126lb:

1st: Nick Suriano
2nd: Luke Karam
3rd: Vito Arujau
4th: Daton Fix
5th: Kaden Gfeller
6th: Peter Pappas
7th: Mitch Moore
8th: Andrew Wert

In one of the most competitive weights in Super 32 history, this 126 bracket saw Daton Fix and Vito Arujau wrestle for third place. Fix and Arujau have finished first and second, respectively, at the Junior and Cadet World Championships. Suriano once again won another loaded weight class.
