Shippensburg Mourns Loss Of Slain Wrestling Coach Bill Wolfe
The tragedy at a country music festival in Las Vegas last weekend irrevocably devastated so many families, and unfortunately the wrestling community was no exception. One of the lives claimed in the worst mass shooting in modern American history was Bill Wolfe Jr., an elementary program head coach in Shippensburg, PA.

Bill and his wife, Robyn, were in Las Vegas celebrating their 20th wedding anniversary and attended the Route 91 Harvest festival on Sunday night when the shooting started. Robyn made it to safety; however, Bill was one of the 58 concert goers murdered by the lone shooter. Bill leaves behind two sons, both of whom are Shippensburg wrestlers.

Bill was described by loved ones as a cornerstone of the Shippensburg wrestling community and a mentor to his young athletes. As a wrestling and Little League coach, Bill positively impacted numerous lives for the better.

The Shippensburg Wrestling Booster Club has established a GoFundMe site for those that wish to support the Wolfe family. Please click here to visit.

The thoughts and prayers of the entire FloSports family are with Bill's family and the greater Shippensburg community.
