Over the past four years, Bergen Catholic (NJ) has been represented very strongly in the Snakepit at Who's #1.

In this year's event, cadet world team member Robert Howard will look to add another win for BC as he defends his No. 1 ranking at 120 pounds against No. 4 Patrick McKee in a match that people are particularly interested in after they fired a few shots at one another on Twitter.

nullBut it all started with former Bergen Catholic standout Johnny Sebastian in the first WNO in 2013 when he defeated Michael Pixley in the final high school match of the event that year. Then, BC's Nick Suriano topped that in incredible fashion when he and junior world champion Daton Fix gave us the longest match in high school history. Suriano was able to get the final takedown to keep the Crusaders' WNO record unblemished.

In 2015, the Oradell, NJ, school was unrepresented, but Shane Griffith got the Crusaders back in the mix in 2016 when he faced off against Brady Berge. Despite a tough battle with Berge, Griffith came out on the losing end in overtime. And that brings us to this year's event, where Howard will look to claim another win for Bergen to take its WNO record to 3-1.
