Go Through Preseason Training Like The NCAA Elite
The NCAA preseason is in full swing and the NCAA elite are training harder than ever. It occurred to us that some younger wrestlers might be looking to train like their favorite college athletes but don't really know where to start. Have no fear, FloWrestling will get you whipped into midseason form in no time.

Flo's Mark Bader checked in with Ohio State this past week, and it would be an understatement to say the Buckeyes are getting stronger this preseason. Here we see OSU strength coach Dustin "Gut Check" Meyers breaking down five essential strength movements that every wrestler should be doing.

If you haven't seen No. 1-ranked 125lb wrestler Nathan Tomasello deadlifting 445lb, do yourself a favor and CLICK HERE. By the end you'll be getting a warmup in and chalking up your hands.

There's an old adage floating around the weight rooms in Ithaca, NY, and that is, "If you don't squat, you ain't squat." Check out this front squat from Cornell's Jeramy Sweany.

In case you haven't gotten the memo, the Buckeyes like to lift -- HEAVY. Former Ohio State All-American Nick Heflin is bringing some impressive gym habits to Norman, Oklahoma, and showing the Sooners how to put over 1,200lb up when you squat.

Circuits are extremely important to functional strength in wrestling. Here's a great montage of the Rutgers wrestling team being put through a circuit by legendary strength coach Zach Even-Esh.

Not into all that heavy lifting? You can still get into shape before the season starts. Go for a run. Or, if you're like the Stanford wrestling team, you can up the ante and take that run on the beach sand while throwing in some hand fighting.

Strength and speed are not the only keys to success on the mat -- flexibility and mobility play a big part too. The North Carolina State Wolfpack are seen here striking a yoga pose.
