Dom Forys, Kaid Brock Poised For Oklahoma Style Shootout
Dom Forys of Pittsburgh and Kaid Brock of Oklahoma State are ready for a top ten battle when Pittsburgh and Oklahoma State wrestle December 4th live on FloWrestling.
Dom Forys and Kaid Brock are two of the most exciting and high scoring wrestlers in the country, and this Sunday live on FloWrestling we will see them square off against each other.
No. 8 Forys is a two-time NCAA qualifier and is heading to Stillwater after winning his third Keystone Classic. Forys is currently 7-0 on the season and is averaging a little over 12 points a match this season. Forys has an outstanding pace and will not stop attacking the entire match. The Panther is also not afraid to try anything and will certainly throw the kitchen sink at Brock Sunday inside Gallagher-Iba Arena.
Watch Forys rack up 17 points at the Keystone Classic:
Despite having his redshirt pulled last season, No. 7 Kaid Brock never got to wrestle inside of Gallagher-Iba Arena in a Cowboy singlet. The stud freshman comes into his first home dual with a 6-0 record averaging over 10 points per match. Throughout his high school career, Brock was known for lighting up the scoreboard, but he burst onto the college scene last season when he decked defending national champion Cody Brewer in the first period. Brock has a shrug that makes opponents never want to tie up again, throws for days, and lightning quick leg attacks.
Kaid Brock picks up a first period tech fall:
I am officially setting the over/under at 25 for this one. Expect these two to throw caution to the wind in an old school Oklahoma style shootout.
Complete projected line-ups:
125: LJ Bentley (Pitt) vs. #11 Nick Piccininni (OSU)
133: #8 Dom Forys (Pitt) vs. #7 Kaid Brock (OSU)
141: Robert Lee (Pitt) vs. #1 Dean Heil (OSU)
149: Mikey Racciato (Pitt) vs. #3 Anthony Collica (OSU)
157: Jake Wentzel (Pitt) vs. #3 Joe Smith (OSU)
165: #17 Te'Shan Campbell (Pitt) vs. #4 Chandler Rogers (OSU)
174: Christian Dietrich (Pitt) vs. #4 Kyle Crutchmer (OSU)
184: Mat Carr (Pitt) vs. #5 Nolan Boyd (OSU)
197: Zach Bruce (Pitt) vs. #4 Preston Weigel (OSU)
285: #16 Ryan Solomon (Pitt) vs. #13 Austin Schafer (OSU)
