AUSTIN, Texas (February 23, 2016)- FloWrestling is excited to announce a partnership with the Ohio Athletic Commission to broadcast both the Ohio grade school state championships, and the Ohio Junior High state championships.

Year in and year out the state of Ohio is arguably the best wrestling state in the country, and produce All-American’s and National Champions year after year at the college level. All of those college stars get their start at these tournaments.

“We are extremely excited to be the home of both Ohio grade school and Junior High state championships,” FloWrestling General Manager Joe Williamson said. “Ohio is consistently one of the best wrestling states in the country, and we are excited to display that high level of wrestling from the youngsters.” 

Entering its 18th year, the list of 2x and 3x Jr. High State champions includes: Logan & Hunter Stieber, J Jaggers, Lance & Collin Palmer, David Taylor, Alex Marinelli, and Bo Jordan, just to name a few.  This years tournament will take place on March 12-13 at the Covelli Centre in Youngstown, Ohio. Keep your eye on the 108lbs class champion as past champions: J Jaggers, Steve Luke, Dustin Schlatter, Ben Jordan, Ian Miller, and Mark Martin have gone on to have great success on the collegiate level. 

Entering its 13th year the Ohio grade school tournament, might be the best youth state tournament in the country. The level of wrestling the kids are competing is astounding given their age. Last year’s tournament may have give us the scramble of the year. This years Grade school state tournament will take a place a week later, March 19-20 also, in the Covelli Centre.
