is it possible to get a higher resolution video of this somehow (or even the original file)? I could pay for a DVD/time/postage/etc if necessary or I could make some online space accessible (sftp or whatever) if it's not too huge to transfer... thanks, drew

hall did not decisively beat darrion so get your facts straight you painted demon...hall barely beat him in a match between usa and new jersey...

I meant Darrion Caldwell, sorry

Anonymous Coward   December 5, 2008 at 5:51am
First of all, if you followed Adam Hall's career at all, he decisively beat Darrion Hall, and was a National Fresstyle Champion along with many other accolades. The kid is a stud, and Winston was right there with him, as a true freshman. Winston has plenty of time and will be a 2 time Ncaa Champion.

The only reason wiston went to rutgers is cuz of his coach who had been with him at Jackson high school. He definetely shouldve gone to a better school prefribly in the big 10 where he could improbe and be a big shot

winston is only a freshman tho...wrestling a stud who been in college for a while

Anonymous Coward   December 1, 2008 at 7:25am
let me just say winston should have made a better choice in college selection. I dont think his talent will increase at Rutgers. He looked flat! he just got destroyed on bottom and was slow on his feet. I hope he dosent become another who never moves foward from being a great high school wrestler.

Anyone have any idea if they (rutgers) is considering red shirting him?
reply
Anonymous Coward   November 26, 2008 at 4:23pm
scottys upped his top game a little. still needs some work. if he can get better on bottom he'll be quite the force.

If he was better top/bottom he wouldve won this match. he's the better wrestler on the feet

jason and scott should be paid thousands of dollars just to wrestling! it would be a great match up and everyone would shut up after it. some1 should set that up.

I like how winston is going in these tough matches. he's going to be awesome later this season. jason welch better step his game up and start wrestling! why did welch forfeit his matches this weekend in california? anyways, winston keep up the good work. it's going to pay off.

Why or how can you say that Welch would destroy him from watching this? Adam Hall is the #7 157 in the nation and he was right there with him. You must be an idiot.

Winston is cutting to much weight. he has lost a lot of muscle mass. Wt cutting is not the answer

Saw him at the dream team against Caldwell. I sat next to his parents so I think I got a pretty good impression of the kid.. You'd have a hard time finding a more respectful kid, very down to earth, humble and gracious. My point being, as NJ said, he was doing nothing more than showing respect.

great match from two future stars. Winston needs some mat work and a little more in the gas tank but he's right there on his feet.

Preseason #7 (Hall) vs. #13 (Winston). I'd say those rankings are about right.
