jake is one of my best friends and for all you saying hes not that hard to beat you are so delusional!
hes a freshman and won the 119lbs state title this year against a senior who he had lost to in the begining of the year.
dont underestimate this boy, hes so amazing :)

Not The Best Wrestler YET   May 16 at 8:10pm
I think Crawford was wayyyyyyyy better. Cisneros was just smart and was aware of te time dfference. If it was a 2,2,2 varsity Cisneros would have got beat by 3. Hes good jst not great. Hes really defencive. He backs p, backs up then shoots. A pretty good strategy. Oh and Cisneros is too small for ferman. And Horan woud kill ferman now. Hes in district 11 with me and i see him wrestle. Cisneros wouldnt even beat Horan. Horans 1 of the best wrestlers ive ever seen. Besides Jordan Oliver.
reply
Ronarks   April 15 at 5:39pm
I dont think he would beat alex if he cut to 103's.
reply
Well   April 15 at 4:06pm
im pretty sure delgado won state in 09 right? and ferman had him pinned twice and finally called the pin the third time he had him on his back. Ferman beat horan. and im pretty sure ferman didnt cut any weight for 119. So if he wanted too, he could suck down and hands down beat alex..
reply
Guest   April 12 at 10:57pm
ummm are we all lookin past the fact that ferman is 2 weight classes above alex and all and all alex is a wayyyyy better technical wrestler
reply
Anonymous Coward   April 10 at 12:45pm
Ferman is a great funk wrestler pinned Horan from pa at the cadet duals and went undefeated, so im pretty sure he could find a way to pin Alex.. hands down.

Just curious does Alex cisneros work with any NCAA Champions over the offseason because that kid is a beast ?
reply
Anonymous Coward   February 10 at 2:53pm
this was a good match between the two even though i do think crawford should have gotten those last points for the takedown. good job alex, but crawford is still a beast so deal with it.

Common Sense you heard right. My son was about 5 feet tall and barely weighed 105. Now he is about 5'2" and weighs around 110. Still eating his way up.
reply
Common Sense   January 19 at 1:39pm
He looks like he got a little bigger and stronger. I heard he eats alot trying to gain more weight.

I just watched Cisneros 5 counties match and this match. He looks 100% better at the 5 counties. This kid is going to be one of the great ones.

Ferman was beating crawford 6 to 2 until the 3rd period and then ferman used his funk and pinned crawford. And how does ferman always have to be loosing when this summer he was beating horan 4 to 0 then pinned him? Ferman is just a funky wrestler. hard to beat but crawford is very tough too dont get me wrong cincernos is an animal on the mat to

Cisneros is a phenom most definately for a freshman, he is very thechnically sound and strong. good luck during the season Alex.
reply
Anonymous Coward   November 10, 2008 at 9:10pm
yea but ferman won tulsa nationals...crawford is really tough but he can be susceptible to big moves such as a headlock
reply
Anonymous Coward   November 9, 2008 at 5:18pm
Ferman's just a headlocker. he's always losing and then hits his opponent with a headlock. Doesn't have that much technique.
reply
Anonymous Coward   November 9, 2008 at 3:09pm
Enough with the weight comments already. This is a tournament that lets you weigh in the day before -- you're going to get some kids who cut a lot of weight. Won't help them in the regular season when you have to weigh in an hour before.

Anonymous Coward   November 9, 2008 at 11:56am
actually crawford has beaten gulibon 5-0 at the va duals
reply
Anonymous Coward   November 6, 2008 at 7:07pm
good match... cisneros looks like a natural 103. Nowby the looks of Crawford i assume he was cutting down from the 120s

I appreciate and thank everyones comments regarding Jacob. He is an amazing wrestler and we look forward to meeting up with Alex soon. Thanks to Alex's family for the nice posting and we wish him the best of luck too. For anyone concerned, Jacob is a 103 pounder. He weighed in at 102.4. Thanks for your support!!! Tammy Crawford

There are many rumors about my sons weight on this forum/comment page. My boy wrestled at jr. high state 102's last year weighing 98lbs. His morning weight now is about 105's. Anybody can challenge that at a tournament. All I ask is that you have your kid weigh in too. My son has always bumped up in weights and age groups to get quality matches. People that know my son could attest to that. The match with Jake Crawford was extremely tough. The boy is simply nails. Anybody that knows youth wrestling knows who Crawford is. The match could've gone either way, and this time my boy ended up with the "W". I wish Crawford luck in his high school season and look forward to having both boys wrestle each other again in the future.

who care! cisneros won and took home the belt already!! we'll just have to wait to see if they wrestle again. reno toc maybe??? maybe cisneros will give ohno the belt if he wants to continue crying about it.
reply
Anonymous Coward   November 5, 2008 at 10:41am
if cisneros dove in on the leg, how did he score the first takedown? crawford had no choice but to attack in the third. HE WAS LOSING!!!! i guess that is just beyond you. i agree with that this match could have gone either way. but don't kid yourself by saying that crawford was not bigger. i hope they wrestle again during the regular high school season and have to wrestle two hours after they weigh in. i know that cisneros would probably major him.
reply
Anonymous Coward   November 5, 2008 at 10:32am
Cisneros was shorter but thicker, crawford tall and skinny. You're the stupid one. If you call diving in on a low single and hanging on, then I guess he has skill. He won because Craford made a bad decision and cut him third period. Crawford gave him the one. Be real, this match was boring and could have gone either way.
reply
Anonymous Coward   November 5, 2008 at 4:06am
I guess pretty dumb. Cisneros is a natural 103 lbs. Ask his father, mother, coaches, wrestling partners.
reply
Anonymous Coward   November 5, 2008 at 2:31am
Oh give it a rest on Cisneros size. He's no where near 103. I have a kid dropping from 115 to 103 this year and he's 15% body fat and he's no where near the size of this kid, not even close. How dumb do you think people are, these are wrestling people your trying to fool here!
He's got great skill for his age though. And quit picking on the 103 weight class people they have just as much skill as any other weight.

Anonymous Coward   November 5, 2008 at 12:27am
Alex is a stud. He trains with a 100% effort and never lets up. I would bet that Alex did not weigh anymore that 103 lbs during his final match, maybe less. The scarey thing he is only going to get bigger and stronger as the season progress.

Anonymous Coward   November 4, 2008 at 9:14pm
103's is the smallest weight class and probably the weakest, EXCEPT if your another 103lber. Keep in mind all these little guys are using all the strength they can get out of 103lbs. And Get Real this is the Super 32 and you should take no credit from the multiple State and National Champs entered. Much respect Alex Cisneros you found a way to WIN.
reply
Anonymous Coward   November 4, 2008 at 8:31pm
of course 103's was the weakest weight. that's why a freshman won it! but don't kid yourself when you say that cisneros is the same size as crawford. either you are blind or just plain stupid. i did get a chance to see cisneros wrestle and i can honestly say that i was impressed with his wrestling skills.
reply
Anonymous Coward   November 4, 2008 at 4:39pm
Are you serious? Alex does not look any smaller than Jacob. 103's was the weakest weight at this tournament.

In the sport of wrestling, it’s a common practice to cut weight. As for Alex, he has been eating like horse all summer trying to gain weight. He cut 1 or 2 pounds to make 103's, he was probably under 103 after that finals match. Great job Alex and keep on eating.
reply
Anonymous Coward   November 4, 2008 at 1:44pm
cisneros attacked the entire first period. as for size, crawford must have been twice cisneros' size. way to go cisneros in winning the match. smart wrestling!!i'll be watching out for you all the way from the east coast.
reply
Anonymous Coward   November 4, 2008 at 1:11pm
Cisneros stalled his butt off the whole 3rd. Both of them at 103 was a huge cut, but especially Crawford, that's quite ridiculos.
