Jordan Oliver would kill him now. Grajales has improved but Oliver has made huge leaps. I kind of hope for Grajales' sake they don't wrestle again, because if he takes losing as passionately as he takes winning, he'll go spiraling into depression. Once Grajales spends time in college he'll make big steps up too but JO has gotten a lot of valuable international experience as well as time with coach smith. Gotta go with Oliver.
that was a good match for no take downs...both guys have good hips...i thought oliver fled the mat once but the ref didnt call it...and the ref made a good call by saying erik was stalling in the third cause he definitly was...great scramble at the end but there was never a complete loss of control cause erik kept going. good match
the outcome was the correct one, but the score was wrong. it should have been 3-2 imo. it looked as if oliver thought he was going to win and really didn't take grajales too serious. oliver has a sweet low single, but grajales just proved to be too strong.
grajales pushed the action while oliver stalled and fled the mat. Oliver was never in the match. He is a very good wrestler but did not show up for this match. 2-1-1 you better start fast.
njfan, florida is terrible but eric grajales is awesome. Indiana is where the GOOD wrestlers come from. u need to shut ur mouth about eric Grajales he is a 4 time state champ
Eric Grajales is the bomb! No body can beat him, he will probably win The NCAA wrestling tournament when he is a Freshmen. but he made one bad choice, he should have went to Purdue.
Oh yea, grajales got lucky with oliver, and alton, and kindig at the college tourny, uhhh oh yea, and with 4 state titles. He also got lucky with ellis coleman, and all the other studs he has beaten over the years. Hmmm, why is this "bastard" so lucky??? Its because all of the hard work he has put in with cozart over the years... DONT HATE
at the end when oliver comes around on grajales it shouldnt have been but i would have given the escape but thats just me but with these guys it could go either way but i dont like the tarzan scream by grajales when he wins just take your win and walk away dont be that guy that people have something to say about when it comes to your character
Oliver beat Grajales twice, once in freestyle and once in folkstyle. Grajales only one once, for everyone who thinks grajales is so much better than Oliver.
I don't think he's gonna wreck Taylor would love to watch that match-up. Taylor has more technique. Grajales is strong but his technique is still junior high-ish plus he has no class & I hope he loses,ha!
Cry all you want but Grajales beat your little PA hero and hes going to beat David Taylor even worse in nationals this year and shut all the Ohio kids up. Then again all the little Ohio sore losers are gonna keep saying Grajales sucks and say their hero can beat him just like you Oliver fans.
the score was one to zero but grajales dominated the tempo of the match jordan wasnot as aggressive as grajales and from looks of the whole match grajales was clearly the better wrestler
Oliver definently had 1pt. during that scramble at the end. After the kid in red tries to funk him he lets go of Oliver's leg & you can clearly see who has control. (33-32sec.remaining on clip.)
fla kid looked gassed after 1st period.........oliver is tough at defending from near takedowns....sqirmer fo sure. 4 min match tough for both. hope 2 see em in college go 7. oliver had the peterson handed to him at the end.......if he just held he would have the belt. check out kick ass wrestling vids at http://www.youtube.com/dckundr. martin u da mannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!
Umm,
Look at the top under 2007 Super 32 and you will see the date of the event. You can also go to http://www.super32.com and see the results from all the years and see that Jordan Oliver only came in 2007.
Watch this match and then go watch Olivers senior nationals matches, its a completely different Jordan Oliver. If his senior nationals body were to wrestle this super 32 body, his senior nationals body would probably major or tech his other. ( Hope that made sense )
Sheesh...those guys are both great. No shame in either one losing to the other.
Why does everybody get so worked up with all the hypothetical BS? I personally believe...that Oliver...like...such as...Grajales... Come on people! Just enjoy the match and get on with it!
Ur saw what i said Guess Not! I stand by it except this time instead of the Dapper Dan Tyler wil be prepared and will take care of busniess. Grajales will beat oliver next time they meet up as well
Tyler Graff would kill Grajales. Tyler Graff is the best right now at 130. He will face Jordan Oliver in the Dapper Dan and watch the damage he does to Oliver. Oliver and Grajales are great, they are on completely different levels than other kids but Graff is at a level beyond that."
Oliver's back on his game. Just took his third state title and majored the kid he beat in the finals a few weeks back at divisions. He how holds the record for most wins in PA. A rematch between these two would be an amazing match, especially with the fact that they've split.
it doesn't seem like oliver is his normal self. If you've ever seen him wrestle hes always on offense. Here its just like he wants the match to be over. he looks at the clock every ten seconds. Definately not the normal Jordan Oliver.
eric sure does cry alot about the refs calls, every match ive seen him wrestle he does that stupid arm swing he does like at 4:05 and and 5:48, every match the cry-sally will do it
Tyler Graff would kill Grajales. Tyler Graff is the best right now at 130. He will face Jordan Oliver in the Dapper Dan and watch the damage he does to Oliver. Oliver and Grajales are great, they are on completely different levels than other kids but Graff is at a level beyond that.
it looks like oliver htought the period was over .. i mean that fat b**** was walking across the matt as the ref gave the reversal and why is the kid screaming no class at all
grajales is a beast. no matter how u look at it. yes, he's a year behind in school, but that's not much, considering he's wrestling someone his own age. as an 8th grader, he lost the state finals match by two points to scoti sentes, who was the same age (sentes bing a freshman) and who'd been beatin by grajales at regionals. going 40-1 as an underweight 15 year old 8th grader ( he used to drink a oint of water before weigh ins to make 89, the minimum in florida), is still pretty damn good
ha cozart u finally speack the truth this kid was wrestling at fargo as a cadet bac in 5th grade. he usually only wins cause of strength that is why this is the first big tourn. hes won other than at 92 pounds and i would like to kno where eric beat him at
THAT IS WAT U CALL GETTIN ROBBED JORDAN LET THE REF TAKE HIM OUT DA MATCH THE SAME THING STARTED 2 HAPPEN AT DA TOURNAMENT 2DAY BUT OLIVER WON IN THE END
THAT IS WAT U CALL GETTIN ROBBED JORDAN LET THE REF TAKE HIM OUT DA MATCH THE SAME THING STARTED 2 HAPPEN AT DA TOURNAMENT 2DAY BUT OLIVER WON IN THE END
THAT IS WAT U CALL GETTIN ROBBED JORDAN LET THE REF TAKE HIM OUT DA MATCH THE SAME THING STARTED 2 HAPPEN AT DA TOURNAMENT 2DAY BUT OLIVER WON IN THE END
yeahhh so for all of you people saying that there was two there wasnt it was a scramble situation where grajales still had the leg, if oliver got it completely locked up then it would be a justifyable two but neither grajales or oliver had control
Oliver looks out of shape and way off his form. The Oliver that tilted Chris Sheetz at states last year would beat Grajales 4 out of 5. Especially given 6 minutes.
Would anyone happen to know where that ref is from? He looks familiar to me. I was thinking maybe CT cause that's where I wrestled but I could be wrong obviously.
ummm close to a takedown in the second with eric on his ass.. lucky its high school, and oliver had two in the peterson definitly bu then might have lost it.. dont sweat it JO u still the man!
good match. the stall call on grajales was right on but i thought oliver should have been hit with stalling in the first or second period. he took one shot in both periods. definitely not two at the end of the match, but it was extremely close.
to great wrestlers but i still look at it as a upset oliver been tearing up everyone for the past year and ever since grajales moved away from 103 it doesnt seem like hes been doing as much
fleeing and kicking away to free yourself are two different things. oliver finishes by coming back and facing grajales. grajales did a nice job scrambling at the end to avoid the reversal. no way it was 2.

That was only a week later than this match, not a year!
in dual meet courts and oliver crush palmer and grajales

Oliver could have been hit for fleeing a couple of times during the match. Grajales was the aggressor and deserved to win.
