Watching this match half way through u just want the kid in the blue to lose. He wrestles like such a lil girl cursing as he walks back to the center and banging the mat. Also on his feet he really didn't do much but grab elbows and dive in the better wrestler won.
That would be pretty impressive. If this is true may i ask for someone from Blue Mt to tape him doing this and then to post in it on here. Ok thanks cant wait to see this!
cooper,
you are total accurate except that the pa wrestler is better. thats why he won the match. any good wrestler who makes a mistake against another good wrestler should lose, thats why this is a sport. the ohio did nothing special or even close to dominate this match. it was close but if the wrestled 10 times i could see the pa kid winning 7 out of 10. your a homer thats why you said the ohio kid is better.
This was a very well wrestled match by choate from PA beating a very talented ohio wrestler in Dijulius. He wrestled a smart match shutting down Dijulius's offense and getting out of a few nice scrambles. I have watched choate over the last couple years and I believe he is really starting to put everything together. Everytime i watch him he looks better and better i expect alot of good things to come in the future.I commend him on a great win and it just goes to show you that PA is loaded from top to bottom at any weight class.
if CHOATE* (glad you're literate) runs blue mt. backwards, then your ohio boy must run on his knees, head first, with his face on the mat. great match, no questions asked. but if you're going to start bashing kids because you're boy lost take it somewhere else. Choate effectively shut down Dijulius' offense (all shots were on the boundary and none were made in good enough position to score) and did what he had to to win the match. Dijulius doesn't wrestle on the edge of the mat, and that's another reason that he will lose this match 6 out of 10 times. he also wrestles like a frustrated ten year old toward the end, your an ohio state champ - keep your composure. great match, lots of intensity and the better wrestler that day won the match.
DiJulius is definitely the better wrestler but he made a stupid error that allowed the takedown to be scored. He did not finish his moves quickly enough to score. I doubt the Pa wrestler would have ever scored a point on him other than an occasional escape or a Dijulius mistake. Nonetheless, you make a mistake and you don't win if you are not scoring either.
