Just re-watched the video. Baldosaro is tough as nails. He completely owned McAuley on his feet --surprised he didn't spring him and put on a TD clinic. His best shots at a pin were coming from his feet. McAuley must be one strong SOB -- Baldosaro wasn't close to turning him with legs so I was expecting him to cut him. He won't be able to cling with legs in D1. Stalling calls comes quickly. With the studs in the room at Iowa, he'll make the jump quickly. He's going to be a beast.
yeah anthony baldosaro and dylan alton also have a common opponent.
ryan dunphy. Dylan alton beat ryan dunphy 3-1 at 145 lbs and anthony baldosaro beat ryan dunphy 9-3 at 140. Also kemmerer just came back from an injury when he lost to alton.
you cant judge a match on common opponents kids with different styles match up differently its impossible to predict unless they ahve multiple common opponents or have actually wrestled each other i think baldy-alton could go either way
Andrew and Anthony do have on common opponent this year...Ryan Kemerer from Boyertown. Baldasaro beat him 7-1 in the Beast finals and Andrew was putting a clinic on Kemerer in the preliminary round of the PIAA AAA State Dual tourney before he put him on hi back and pinned him. My money is on Alton without a doubt! Baldasaro looks like a stud but he is definitely not at Alton's level. Maybe next year in the Dapper Dan we will get to see these 2 go at it...if they're both at the same weight that is...and Baldasaro doesn't get knocked off by somebody. Because I will guarantee that Andrew Alton will not lose another High School match...period!
I'm pretty sure Baldosaro didn't give up a takedown this year. Not at the beast and not at states, maybe somewhere else? But I doubt it. Just a flat out stud. I met his dad once, and the last thing he would ever do is brag about how good his kid is. Just a nice, humble guy. Best of luck to you Anthony.
