Lanigan got lucky to even make it to the finals. This should have been a blowout, but things happen. Crazy inside trip! Good job, Tumlin.
reply
Bull   March 14 at 11:02am
lanigan won it. horrible officating, cost a kid a state title.
reply
Takedown   March 12 at 2:21pm
Tumlin's the best 189 in the state, has been the past two years.
reply
SW Wrestler   March 11 at 3:32pm
You don't even see most of the first period on this video! Tumlin had a takedown early in the first which was also called "out" ....so, the score would have been 5-3 with no OT. The right kid won - congrats Tumlin!

What?   March 11 at 9:07am
How is a Major Decision (dual) and a Fall in 1:05 (sectionals) almost beating someone?

Get a Clue.
reply
Jake   March 10 at 9:08pm
i dont think tumlin shoudlve won. our 189 from lakota west almost beat him.
reply
Observer   March 10 at 4:44pm
If the takedown in OT was "clearly" in, and the wrestlers were right in front of the Brecksville coaches - then why didn't they question the refs or the table?

Because they were out - end of story.
reply
Hova   March 10 at 12:11pm
lanigan is not a better wrestler than tumlin. He is very good but Tumlin is the top 189 in the state and has been for two years.
reply
Mael   March 10 at 11:32am
the kid in the red is alot better he got screwd
reply
Wow   March 9 at 7:29pm

reply
...   March 9 at 6:22pm
Lanigan was robbed. It's a shame it came down to a terrible call by the ref. Lanigan won, Tumlin should not be satisfied with that "win".

Anthony Magazine and Andrew Barr, grow up and stop posting your stupid comments.
reply
Real Anthony Magazine   March 9 at 4:59pm
That was the real Andrew Barr he thinks he can beat everyone in the wrestling room if he was the same weight as them except for lang...... he'd only loose by a point?
reply
Wow.   March 9 at 2:45pm
ya boy lanigan should be the third state state champ for brecksville. awful reffing. mike was robbed. not taking anything away from tumlin(he is a great wrestler), but lanigan out wrestled him the entire match
reply
112   March 9 at 2:31pm
they were definently out an i think the refs are tained enough to no wats out an wats in so tumlin won fair and square and was just better than lannigan so get over it
reply
Ohio   March 9 at 1:31pm
After watching the match, it did seem he was in, but the momentum carried them out, sort of, I believe the ref called the whistle to early, let the guys go out if they are but these line calls with 3 points of the body in bounds is confusing the wrestlers and coaches, it has to be clear, use the Ncaa as your guide. It may be the only fair way to decide control.

This same ref blew a match of mine in high school 20+ years ago. He just thinks he has to be a part of the match. The NCAA should have there refs give a clilnic on how to be in a match but let the wrestlers decide it.

Blueberry   March 8 at 8:04pm
thats some bull . lanigan had him on that takedown in ot
reply
Anonymous Coward   March 8 at 4:16pm
Really nice match to watch.....lanigan was more aggressive and should have gotten it.....just unfortunate
reply
Regyehy   March 8 at 4:10pm
dude of middletown should of came in 1st
reply
A Kuenzig   March 8 at 4:08pm
The refs probably made the call to finish the long night. It's understandable but very controversal.
reply
Tmc   March 8 at 4:04pm
They WERE out. The refs had a better view than you did. You surely can't tell from the mat level video.
reply
Lanigan=robbed   March 8 at 3:25pm
Tumlin shouldove hugged the ref instead of his coach afterward
reply
Foster   March 8 at 3:09pm
That was bull lanigan shouldve gotten two but that stupid ref called them out. . lanigan deserved that title
reply
Bull Crap   March 8 at 2:43pm

reply
Wow   March 8 at 12:42pm
Probably shouldn't have won, but that inside trip was DIRTY. Flo you need to cut out just the last 15 seconds and make it a takedown vid.
reply
BS   March 8 at 12:19pm
Tumlin doesnt deserve that title, Lanigan was robbed. Three takedowns the refs didnt count.BS
