thats quite a bold statement, id start gettin the papers ready for the name change, because he WILL lose next year, coming in as a freshman to take ncaas? and never lose? dude itll happen, eric may not beat him but i know for a fact he will get beat, you have to look at the names like zach sanders or mike thorn, nikko triggas, jordan oliver, anthony robles, easy killer....
He will never lose again. He'll probably major Eric Grajales or whomever he wrestles that has a big name. His UNLIMITED STAMINA will never fail him, his ENDLESS TECHINIQUE will out-wrestle anyone, his INSANE SPEED is faster than anyone and his INCREDIBLE COACH, Cael, will guide him to a 4x NCAA title. I'll legally change my name to Terrell Owens if he ever loses again.
wrestlers are the most athletic, smartest, and technical athletes .. wrestling doesn't just teach wrestling, it also teaches you about life in general. If you put a wrestler against any other athletes ..i guarantee that the wrestler will be more successful maybe not in sports career but over all..
Oh and Jake you may have your opinions about wrestling, but once you have wrestled everything else in life is easy. That is why wrestlers decide to do the sport. It teaches them far more things in life than just the technical part of it. Michigan is definately not as good as Ohio.
Ever since watching him freshman year at 103, I knew he was going to be a four time state champ. Taylor will be an Olympic gold medalist someday....just watch.
taylor majored grajales like 14-1 or 14-2 when they wrestled in jr high. yes there both 2 of the best today but taylor still wins in a close one to prove he's the best.you can't muscle everybody.
Both Taylor and Grajales have had great H.S. careers. I would love to see them go at each other. It would probably be a 1-0 match like when grajales beat Oliver. Not saying who would win, but it would probably be boring with little real action. Still, I would like to see it happen.
Taylor has won everything and beat virtually everyone. He is possibly the best pound for pound wrestler in the Nation. No one gives him enough credit. He does everything perfect and trains perfect. How can you knock such a hard working wrestler?!

Awesome performance!!!!! just doesn't say enough. That was one of the best dominating finals match I've ever seen. It reminded me of Angel Escabedo in his final Championship Match in high school...overwhelmingly DOMINANT!!!
i have grown up in iowa my whole life and have seen many greats in my time. Taylor is dominating. as well as Eric. The kid in the video against bailey beat 3x and mizzou recruit Wisdom correct? hopefully they will all have great tourney and will meet up
I have to agree with Corey, Eric will give him the best match hands down, but i wouldn't count out Ellis Coleman from Oak Park, ILL. or Mac Bailey from Oak Park, MO. Here is a link of Mac Baily DESTROYING a 3x Missouri Finalist (2x Champ) then Coleman beat Bailey 3 to 1 I believe. Taylor is very good but rolling towards your back ALWAYS puts you in danger I don't care if your Brent Metcalf or anyone else you have the chance to get caught.
The rolling on the mat is Taylors style, he doesn't panic when he gets in those positions or scrambles. You can't tell me any of the kids you mention other than Grajeles could hang with Taylor...after Super 32 he has been on a rampage...just watch the Quarters, Semis and Finals of the Ironman. He manhandled those supposedly top wrestlers...He won in the finals like 16 - 2 and that kid came out of Josh Kindigs side of the bracket...Supposedly Kinding is ranked in the top 5 in the country.
if the match stays on the mat im telling david taylor will turn him at least once but if grajales manages to keep the match on the feet the whole time it will be very close i give grajales the edge on the feet but taylor is on another level from top and bottom if grajales doesnt score from his feet he wont have a chance of winning that match up
I agree. Taylor rolls to his back way too much and it looks really sloppy. Eric Grajales, Mac Bailey, or Ellis Coleman wouldn't be so easy to do this to. i can not wait to see Sr. Nations.
destin mccauley is good but he lost 3 times in this season! Taylor would beat destin mccauley, however I think anthony baldosaro from nj could give taylor an awesome match, possibly even beating him.
It doesn't look like he has any competition. The bottom guy is presenting like he was wrestling freestyle. Does anyone get physical with Taylor? He doesn't look very physical to me. I think a couple of boys up in Minnesota would give him a run, namely Destin McCauley of Apple Valley
