ya im sorry to say that was ...minnard easily should have won that match..no offense to dijulius but he stalled and held on every shot minnard took..he knew that they wouldnt call him on it which imo the refs screwed minnard over..

DiJulius won as predicted and expected. Minnard and Stone were admirable opponents but DiJulius won. There's a reason he's state champ multi times and holds a national title. He's talented, humble, sportsmanlike, and damn good. Enough said.

Unsportsmanlike on any wrestler's part is unworthy of a win. It's a shallow victory and a tarnished one at that.

If you think he's so beatable go wrestle him. He was undefeated his entire season until his one and only defeat in regionals (and his only defeat was a stalling call in the last 2 seconds of overtime), he's won states mulitiple times, and is ALWAYS sportsmanlike. I dont think there was a need for unsportsmanlike conduct. Be a man about it. I'm not trying to trash minnard, but Johnni did score the only offensive point of the whole match.

I dont blame Minnard for the unsportsmanlike. That ref was horrible, and possibly cost him the match. Minnard wrestled much better, and should have won.

Stalling call was horrible, DiJulius is very beatable. I think Stone will take him in the finals.

johnni scored the only offensive point the whole match and was winning before minnard gave up the technical. minnard couldnt score for the first 4 minutes

& how about that stall call against Minnard in the 1st. DiJulius is the one hanging on the arm - holding on.

Minnard should've won this match. Refs stopped the match at crucial times - DiJulius stalled 2/3 of the match. Minnard was in on way more shots & in deep. DiJulius did get the 2 off the FHL - but how many would Minnard have gotten if they don't stop it everytime walsh is in trouble.

One thing about Minnard is that he goes hard!!!
