regardless of what state you come from 4x state shamp is impressive and noah teched him. good stuff. i go to school w noah now. goofy little kid. never wouldve picked him for a funky style wrestler but he is pretty ugly so you never know
Sounds like a bunch of critics on this page.
Cry Babies.
And .
Every state has a combination of tremendous and ty wrestling.
I've see SC wrestlers tech OK wrestlers. Likewise OK wrestlers tech SC wrestlers. It's a sport folks. May the best man win. It seems like many of the knuckleheads on this page are very proud of their opinions and seem as if they are right and everyone else is wrong. Hell I may be wrong.
All I'm saying is both of these wrestlers are just that. WRESTLERS. They eat they sleep they cut and they train just like every other wrestler. So what if one was major'd at state. There are very few undefeated 4 time state champs in the nation. Some of the greatest wrestlers lose.
Bottom line.
I tip my cap to these two young men. To the GA wrestler who won, and to the SC wrestler who lost.
Keep up the good work gentlemen.
"There are no real losers in wrestling....only those who have not wrestled."
those wrestlers are not good because of the coaches if they know anything they got it from somewhere else will james was good cause of the camps he went to
Wando Booster Club huh....do you know anything about wrestling? Who was in a ball during practice? What did they get away with this year....being successful? What are you talking about? I think you are mistaken if you think those coaches would touch coke buddy. Get a life and stop sitting in front of a computer. Why don't you just go and tell the coaches to their face what you think.
ya you can say u didnt right those post real wando coach but theres no way you can deny doin coke and possibly being gay. but i will say this i dont kno his name but that new assistant i saw with u this year not franco the other one is a real joke and i think its cute how he trys to wear his hair like u
well real wando coach how much class do you have to have to do coke. you arnt goin to get away with this next. i swear if my kid comes home again and says you were in a ball in the corner all of prac. i will go to coach hayes
coach schiender of wando said: its rholetter not sc wrestling that sucks he just use to wrestle in 2a so he won threee tittles and lost to a nobody this year
No, I did not write that, or the other three posts you left using my name. Please stop trying to impersonate me. For the third time, learn how to spell. I think you should also stop being a coward. Post your disrespectful comments using your own name. That way everyone will know who the true classless individual is.

And how many times did lazor place at super 32? And collins hill is ranked about 21 in the nation, not great but better than programs in a lot of other states. If you haven't seen GA wrestling besides one dual you don't know how good teh state is
GA might be in the top 40 wrestling states. Out of about 48. GA might be better than Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas, Hawaii, Alaska, Tennessee, Kentucky, North Carolina and South Carolina. Keep up the good work!

He was majored in the state finals by T.J. Mitchel. Who is one of the few Georgia wrestlers that is ranked nationaly and could wrestle with any one in the country.
to see the SC kids and coaches that puff their chest and act like real hard core wrestlers get their comeuppance. I've sat silently by and listened to them talk smack about how great wrestling is in SC and it is hilarious that they got waxed so bad. Get a grip! Yes, wrestling has improved in SC. It didn't (and doesn't) have anywhere to go but up. There are kids state tournaments in other parts of the country with far better technique than the SC high school kids have. And if you think that the GA boys whipped them, it would have been a complete shut out if they wrestled an all star team from a number of other states (about 40 other states).
Not from GA said: Anon Cow, I'm not from GA or any other southeastern state...how else would I know anything about wrestling?! SC losing to GA is just proof of what I already knew: SC sucks when it comes to high school wrestling. That doesn't mean GA is good, just that SC really sucks. GA sucks, too, especially compared to states in the midwest or northeast. You are only as good as your competition. For SC wrestlers, when you win you are only better than other SC people with athletic talent, but little or no solid technical command of the sport of wrestling. For GA wrestlers, when you beat SC, you are only as good as your competition which means you are much better than a really terrible wrestling state. Congrats, GA!!! GA might be in the top 40 wrestling states. Out of about 48. Yeah, GA! You are better than Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas, Hawaii, Alaska, Tennessee, Kentucky, North Carolina and South Carolina. Keep up the good work, SC and GA!
Not from GA ur a really dumb ass....you dont know nothing about wrestling or these kids or what they have done...so go play with yourself and leave the wrestling to the kids on the mat hell we could all learn something from them whatever state there in all this trashing these kids shows how little you are...
South Carolina has improved greatly over the past few years in wrestling. Football has always been the sport here. Give SC time and it will come. It has really started to take off in the past few years.
As for Rholetter, You do not know what all that kid has been through this season.
Anonymous Coward said: Rholetter is a decent wrestler, but he didn't deserve to be a team leader. He didn't wrestle anyone in the three years that he did win state. I mean the next day he was teched by the 125 for SC. Also, SC Sucks I hope you realize that yall are not in the Midwest either so why would you even bring that up.

44-18. There are 44 reasons to lump all the SC wrestlers together.
6 of the SC points came from a forfeit. If you can't draw a conclusion on the quality of SC wrestling from the complete and total domination of their "all star" wrestling team (including losses by their leading individuals: Eric and Eddie ), then what exactly does this loss mean? Did the majority of the SC kids just have a "bad match?"
Alex, you are right, Eric is a good wrestler...in the state of SC. He just wouldn't be considered a good wrestler any place else. A technical fall is not a bad match...it is when you are getting beat so badly that the refs stop the match to limit your embarrassment. Technical falls are a "mercy" rule. As in, "I'm getting beat so bad, please have mercy on me and stop this ass whoopin?"

1A,2A,3A,4A, could be 15A...it doesn't matter. Bottom line: most SC state place winners couldn't even qualify for state, much less take home a medal, in any of the midwest (OH,IN,IL,IA,NE,KS,OK,MN,WI,CO,etc.) or northeast states (PA,NJ,NY,etc). The depth of wrestling talent in SC is nonexistent. Saturday's dual should mark the end of the series between SC and GA. The loss to GA proves that SC wrestling can't even compete with GA, they sure couldn't stand up against kids that start wrestling at 4 years old. Go back to wrestling only SC kids and thinking that SC can compete with the rest of the US. You'll sleep better at night.
just to let you know this kid was only good in 1A if we had our kids from 4A they would be much better eric is overrated!! and is only good because he had no comp. in 1A
The kid from SC was a 3x champ and 1x runner up. This match shows how weak wrestling is in SC. The kid from GA tech falls him! Wow! And it ain't cause the kid from GA is fantastic, although he was a 3x state placer. You are only as good as your competition and there isn't much competion in SC.
