18U Terrell McKinney (NE) v Kyle McCrite (ID)

I've been with wrestling for over 45 years now, wrestling and officiating at all levels, and this was a nice match to watch. McCrite is a determined wrestler with explosive moves, and excellent conditioning. He was disappointed at losing the match, and ought to be having come so close to tying this with a last-second takedown, but it was not to be. I expect to see him doing well in college, as he has so much of what it takes to succeed at the next level . McKinney, though, is another story. He is the kind of guy, who can look as though he is winded and slowing down, then suddenly explode in a series of moves, not stopping until he gets the point. Clearly in pain through much of the match, he maintained control throughout. I really expect to see him win some championships in college, if he can dodge injuries.

Idaho should have kept the pressure on Neb. the entire match, looked like Neb. was out of gas in the 3rd. good match.
