I understand being proud of your baby but he is a 6yr old. I can teach and 6yr old a half and he is going to go out there and win 90% of his matches. All your kid did was hang on, and did nothing else. On his feet went running after the girl if she would of dropped to one knee he would of been taken down. Then he wrestled most of the match with his head on the mat. We'll see how this super stud does now, that kids no more than one move in the 8U. Sorry to bust your bubble but shouldn’t brag about him being the greatest thing out there until he at least learns how to wrestle. : )

Hey Dave why don't you give credit where credit where credit is due. First off with only 14 seconds left in the last period and in the down position he got an escape and a take down to win that match (against the Oregon kid)!!!! Oh yeah, by the way the Oregon kid lost his next two (2) matches and came in 6th.

I find it hard to be super excited for this kid,winning the trinity award when he cried his way out of getting pinned by the kid from oregon with less than 20 sec. in the match. he was'nt hurt, just scared and the ref stopped the match. The championship match was 3 matches prior to the finals!!!!
