My bad, this was the semi-final match, not the finals. This was a tough match for both kids. A stalling call could have made a differance in this match. Beck deserved to be in the finals with Weldon. He just got put on the wrong side of the bracket at the begining. It could have gone either way.

Stalling? the Beck kid would have to be close to win with a stall call. The only points he got in this match was when Weldon let him up. Beck did his best but he shouldn't have been in the finals anyway.

If you spent any time at this tournament, you would realize that the referees had no idea what stalling was. Kids would literally back off the mat and not be called for stalling. One official from California told me that he wanted to be fair to both kids. How is that fair to the kid who is the aggressor? After that question, I was informed that it was a judgement call. That tells me that there is no substance to the argumment. Poor officiating was rampant when it came to stalling. At least they were consistent.

The PV kid is clearly stalling tremendously during this match. RB should have gotten the win.
