wow. camacho and zimmer are both great wrestlers...camacho has a nasty arm drag and front headlock, zimmer did a great job the entire match, not making many big mistakes

zimmer will win a state title in one of next two years

You'd run like that too if you had to give the arse up to the refs to make calls for you....

Pretty Good Match   March 21, 2008 at 2:29pm
I don't think either of these could be nowry, steiber, basacha or some others but both are good wrsetlers. i was most impressed with simmer even though he loss he looks to be a very solid wrestler. It's sad camacho is so small...he might have been able to wrestle in college.

Zach Zimmer   March 12, 2008 at 7:05pm
I did not make the previous posts about my match with Camacho. He's a great wrestler and won the match fair and square and deserved the state title. I have never posted on these sites and any future comments under my name i can assure u r not from me.

Ref   March 5, 2008 at 11:49pm
The escape call usually isn't called that quickly, but it can be. Comacho did have the head but that's all. He didn't have a front headlock and his other hand was under the arm, not over it.

I meant 4-2 at then end of 2nd not 4-1
reply
My Name   March 5, 2008 at 8:55pm
should have gone to overtime...there was no escape therefore no takedown at the end of the second...end of the second the score should have been 2-1 not 4-1

camacho is weak
reply
R   March 4, 2008 at 10:48pm
i don't think that was a good call in the 2nd with the escape and takedown again, he never lost control and Zimmer was never facing him, bad ref
reply
Kevin Grzadzinski   March 4, 2008 at 9:12pm
I think it would suck to be as short as Comacho, even though he is one of the best kids in the nation at the weight it would suck to go through the rest of your life as a 5'00 foot shrimp. Just saying

Genki Sudo   March 4, 2008 at 8:47pm
This is the best state finals match of them all but still not very impressive. I am astounded at the lack of athletic wrestlers in California of all places. I guess I'm just spoiled by guys like David Taylor, Gus Sako, Steve Mitchyff, Tony Jameson, and Jesse Dong.

Morgan Evans   March 2, 2008 at 1:26pm
Great match. Was the quick escape/takedown in Camacho's favor (second period I think)a good call? I think it probably was, but Camacho had the head tie tight throughout the escape, and used it to get two before Zimmer had much of a chance. Any refs on here know the exact rule on that? Definitely not a takedown quite yet at the end. Zimmer needed one more second...

Choosing neutral to start the 3rd? Did he get worked on bottom at CIT or something?
Either way, a state champ.
