all i have to say is, everyone hating is retarted...melde was sick first of all, and second of all new york sucks at wrestling period! third melde/baldy would beat any one of u guys....my man ryan dunphy freshman year beat some kid who placed 2nd in states from new york.

he actually didnt make pep his b****, i shouldnt say that. i did lose alot of respect for melde when i found out why he left delbarton, he seemed like an absolute animal this year, and he was so off this year...something def didnt work for him his conditioning looked horrible compared to last year. but peppelman didnt make baldo his b**** either i kno he beat him pretty solidly but if ant finds a way to stop the tilt, its anybodys match. if melde wrestles like he did last year, he is much better than both baldo and pep. all three are great wrestlers though.

Melde beat Peppelman 5-3 @ 2007 preseason 32 in NC. Scott Winston lost in the same tournament, 5-4.

Baldosaro is a beast. Whoever is talking smack doesn't really know wrestling. If you know technique than you can see that he has excellent position especially for a HS wrestler. FORMER JERSEY--cross faces are a joke and if you try to do one on BALDY you'll end up counting lights while you're trying to get your wind back... haha You don't understand that though cause you don't know technique.

Anthony Baldosaro is a Beast Runner up and NJ state champ. I question your knowledge of the sport if you think he's an average wrestler.

Melde had an off day. I really do not think that he was ready to wrestle this match. When you compare his last year's state championship match to this one, those are two totally different wrestlers. Stinks for Melde, but he'll be great at Rutgers. Definetly a multiple time All-American

Not saying Baldy is a bad wrestler, just that this was a WEAK final. I don't care what a kid is ranked, go watch PIAAA State Semifinals and tell me either of these kids could hang with those four guys, HA!

baldosaro is someone u wish was on your team. showed he is a hard worker and even when he was up kept pushin the pace. that alone is something to be proud of. then u got his skill speed and strength, which makes him a machine.

baldy controlled that whole entire match, im not sayin meldes not better them him, but when it mattered baldy wreslted on a different level. When baldy's a senior and u compare their careers baldosaros will b the better career

No offense, but these two guys just weren't really that good. A state final and the guys are shooting and just holding onto the leg with one arm while the other guy forgets how to throw a cross face? pretty weak.

That's hilarious. Zach Clemente barely beat that Floor kid, who never placed in states before. Trevor Melde was ranked #2 in the nation before this match, and is going to wrestle for Rutgers. he would major Clemente.

zack clemente a junior from new york would dominate both these guys. all american several times in fargo. state runner up to jantzen and walked through state tourney this year.

Melde moves like a turd. Sloppy technique and just muscles the move through. Really just ugly. He won't last at RU. Goodall will kick his butt and he'll just fizzle out. What a cement head. If that's 2nd in the country, this country needs an enema.

these guys are okay but would get dominated by people like Dan Vallimont, Rory O'ddonnell , david greenwald

i could see him thinking he would win again this year and not working as hard...its tough to be motivated to work hard when you already have won the big dance before. he wasn't as hungry for the title...just look at joe trause losing...probably a similar situation. the other kids wanted it more.

congrats BALDY I'M SOUTH JERSEY PROUD !!!!! I know you put in a ton of work and not only physically ready but mentally you could see you were not going to be denied, congrats coaches in it for the right reason your kids today is payback for all you hard work with your team

melde looked bad the whole tournament not really dominating the competition like he did last year. and while wrestling in the finals he looked buzzed. ive also heard from sources saying he didnt take his practices seriously and probaly thought he was all hot stuff.
