Vince Silva has played a big role in the wrestler I am today. I wrestled for him for almost 4 years, and he dedicated his life to us at Santa Ana. I remember he would turn down money to coach us. He would say " Use it towards freestyle. Give it to the boys." He would work out with us any chance he could. We would break into the wrestling room late at night, wrestle off campus at a friends house, boys club, SA college before he coached there, at his home, at the beach, everywhere anytime. But the best memory I have of him from HS, is when I picked up a kid and broke his collar bone, and I freaked out. He yelled a me and said," Get away from him! That's what he gets for wrestling you!" Wow!

Thanks coach

What'd this guy do in high school? I assuming that's why he was shunned so much because he didn't have impressive high school credentials
