I have two questions for those who know: 1) What was Kenny thinking in giving up back exposure? Too much folkstyle training? 2)In folkstyle, the illegal hold against the Russian would have been potentially dangerous without a point being awarded. Is that a distinction between the two styles? reply

Bio:	Kenny Monday was one of America's best wrestlers. In High School he was a phenom and went undefeated (from grades 7-12). In High School he was a phenom and went undefeated (from grades 7-12). He decided to go to Oklahoma State for college where he was coached by Tommy Chesbrow. By his senior year he was a national champion but always knew his ultimate goal was a gold medal. He had to go through one of the most legendary wrestlers just to make the Olympic Team, Dave Schultz. He did so and became the 1988 Gold Medalist.
