#57	Derek Bly March 23 at 10:48pm I used to watch Israel tear through guys with ease. It was hard to believe until you saw it. Tim Springs, Nathan McMillan are two off the top of my head. He used to make future D1 wrestlers look like they had just started wrestling. Even in the kids program he won state five years in a row (that includes winning as a 10 year old in the 11 & 12 age group). I was really looking forward to seeing him in college. reply

He knows what he is doing and if you know the sport you would know his name....that is why he on here! reply

And last time I checked, Jeff Jordan was one heck of a coach, so modeling your practices after him is not such a bad idea. As a coach, you know to steal anything that you think will be useful to make your wrestlers better. reply

#21	Jeffpape April 24, 2008 at 2:59pm Some insight into why singlets. He told me his team used to wear t-shirts and shorts. Then in matches when they would be in uniforms, they could not hit that same technique because the guys were used to grabbing shorts and shirts to finish moves. It actually makes a lot of sense on why to wrestle live in uniforms... reply

A day at Izzy Style Practice. When Israel enters the wrestling room a light switch goes on and he becomes a different person who is zeroed in on what he has to do to get his guys to improve and believe.
